Tissaia de Vries is a very powerful and complex sorceress. She is a mentor to Yennifer and is the rectoress of the Aretuza (magic academy). She may be very stern and strict, but she is this way with the best intentions. She cares deeply for her students and for the Aretuza, and will do what ever it takes to protect them.
Tissaia is a character I absolutely adore, she is ideal for My Favourite TV Characters, a strong, powerful and beautiful woman, plus her magical abilities are an added bonus.
Played beautifully by MyAnna Buring, Tissaia de Vries is an incredible character.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Revynah was a naturally beautiful woman. Lovely as a girl and gorgeous once grown-up. She inherited fine and juvenile traits from her mother and still looked fairly young despite being over a century old. Revynah had straight silk-like auburn hair looking lighter or darker dependinG on the lighting. Her face was pale with a defined jawline. Her eyes used to be a bright green but the use of some potion and other magical stuff turned them a bit grey. Revynah’s nose was straight, not as short as her mother’s but not as long as her brother’s, her mouth was a pale rose and slightly crooked, proud lips.
Revy had pronouced cheekbones, long and trimmed half moon shaped eyebrows and obsidian, softly curved short eyelashes framing round stormy grey-green eyes. She was tall standing at 5′8″ (176 cm) and rarely wore high-heels, preferring boots, more practical on the daily basis and in combats. Even dressed in Nilfgaardian mage robes, she wouldn’t wear higher than 2 inch platform shoes and would still be taller than her peer, Fringilla. She had an athletical body and slim arms and legs and thin but strong hands.
When she wasn’t dressed in those Nilfgaardian silver long robes covering the entirety of the mage’s body, she would wear lots of leather made clothes such as a leather corset over a hunter green blouse and leather skinny but flexible pants. She had one of her corset with pieces of leather shaped in the form of leaves over her bare shoulders but didn’t wear it as much. Her voice was seductive and raspy. She also had a wonderful singing voice and used to sing and hum all the time when she was younger but gradually stopped as she got older. She didn’t lose her ability to sing though.
What’s unusual about Revynah is that, sorceresses usually undergo a procedure which purpose is to rid her of any physical imprefections and embellish her, as mages were known to be the most beautiful women of the continent. The thing was that she was already a beautiful human being and it wasn’t in her plans to give up her feritlity or anything just to be more beautiful. Everyone would agree that even though she had a youthful face, her maturity and sometimes coldness would balance her looks. She didn’t think she had a baby face that needed improvement. She liked the way she looked.
PERSONNALITY
Alert, insightful, curious, self-confident, strong, and assertive. Protective, resourceful, straight-talking, and decisive, Revynah hides her insecurities behind her tough personnality. She witnessed the cruelty of the world first-hand at a very young age. She used to be quite sweet and helpfull as a child but what she went through left her bitter andfull of resentment towards the whole world. She became quite independent, refusing to let people tell her what to do and decide of what her life would be in her place, but her inner child still had this hope and fantasy that she could have a normal, peaceful life and a loving family. This childish hope was her weakness and she eventually got rid of it and shut down her emotions, letting her chaos take the best of her and in the end, yes, she wasn’t controlled by anyone... but herself. She was a human who stripped herself off her humanity and thought it would make her happy. It was as if her true self was chained up somewhere, only waiting for the trigger to get loose of her restrain.
