nothing more really came of this, but at least she acknowledged it. and no, i wasn’t expecting azula to be redeemed in this comic, but i was expecting something more direct, i guess. something to allude she’s headed in that direction perhaps. but this kind of felt like the only real revelation she had
this narrative felt like either an open end to a half baked redemption opportunity (which was honestly just like. cruel? showing a girl with hallucinations that break her reality more hallucinations?) or a big fuck you to the audience. with the way the writers treat azula i’m inclined to go with the latter. which is unfortunate bc she’s literally an abused child with no guidance but whatever. maybe i’m wrong

Two people break into the Vandermeer house. Not knowing the layout of the house, they end up in the room of a young boy. Afraid that he little boy will get them caught, the two people acted out of panic.
