If you ever feel bad that you're not good with faces, I want you to know that my family and I were watching Junior Taskmaster and I saw nothing wrong when one kid accidentally called Mike "Alex." Because I didn't laugh, my husband explained that it was funny because that meant the kid had been watching the grown up Taskmaster, where Alex is the one who sets up the tasks.

And this is when I found out Mike Wozniak was not, as I had assumed, Alex Horne with a wig, a moustache, and a fake name.

What sport do you think Mike would be good at?

Literally none of them lol. I thought about this for so long but let’s be real he can’t throw, catch or jump, and his cardiovascular endurance is probably terrible. Like he can bike and swim presumably but he’s not winning any races.

The only thing that came to mind was pool/billiards because that’s like physics but do we consider that a sport?

yesterday i said i wrote something that made me start to tear up. Here’s a part of it:

As they drove past the small mom-and-pop shops, bookstores, and restaurants, Mike’s mind began to wander to forbidden places - places that offered him momentary solace, but always left him feeling just the tiniest bit emptier. He wondered if he and El would’ve ended up here after high school, living together in some small apartment while attending the college.

Then, for the second time that day, and for the umpteenth time this year, his thoughts began materializing in the real world. Sitting just outside a small coffee shop, was a younger version of himself sitting across from a slightly older version of the El he remembered, long hair tied into two braids that sprawled down her back. The two of them were laughing over a warm beverage, legs tangled together under the table. Mike knew he should look away, that his mind was sick with… something, and indulging in whatever was causing these hallucinations would only make things worse. But… she looked so real, so beautiful and free. He doesn’t know how his mind conjured up something so vivid, but not even an atom bomb going off would be enough to make him look away from her.
