what your soul craves can never be satisfied by what your mind tries to feed it, no matter the abundance. it's like a vitamin deficiency; if you have vitamin d deficiency, no matter how much water you drink or lasagna you eat, it won't compensate for what your body is lacking. if you've never taken the time to actually figure out how you feel and what you need, don't be distraught when nothing seems to make you feel fulfilled. it's not because you are 'hopeless' or 'useless', you're just insisting on a misaligned model for your psyche.
