Soulknife
I made this last year and now I can post it without spoiling my friends!
My D&D’s character brother, Aidan Vasilios Andronicus. He has to take care of his young sibling who developed magic powers (in a world where being a magic user can make you killed) Life was difficult and he ended up using his brother to help him finish dirty and bloody jobs in the criminal guilds. Aidan didn’t have powers himself but with study of his brother’s blood he ended up developing his own magic. The psychic blades don’t leave any marks on the body, making him the perfect assassin. The two brothers are well known in the criminal guilds...
Very edgy I know.
He’s an half elf Soulknife rogue/Bladesigner wizard

#365DaysOfVGM Day 123:
Recollect Continent [Theme of Rock] (Soul Edge/Soul Blade [1995])
Such a strong Drum and Horn melody to start off with, I can already feel the rush of an epic adventure across nature from it. The happier parts of the melody fit Rock’s trait of having a strong resolve!
The brief Harp-centered sections seeming to be the “Recollect” part, wondering what was lost to get to his more peaceful situation in life, before returning to the main melody’s tempo, which to me communicates how his sad past doesn’t matter anymore! Both of the earlier-mentioned parts get extra depth from the lovely Strings too, and there’s plenty of Drum rolls to keep the melodies as varied as ever.
I only played Soulcalibur II and IV, so I can’t tell you if the very start of the series is a good game, but seeing as I loved both of those games, I can at least say it’s the start of another fighting game series I like! No idea if this Rock guy gets a father of the year award, but I can feel a strong resolve of my own thanks to his awesome theme!
