The room before Atem was of a certain quality that gave itself the credit it deserved at taking it in with one simple glance.
While there was no truly material worth in the room, riches or anything of that kind, it gave of a surprisingly well kept and comfortable atmosphere.
The floor beneath him looked like dark hardwood and extended throughout the comfortable looking space that was almost like a living room. There was no TV around or anything much of a electrical source, but around a million books seemed to hang out on the shelves, like the person occupying the room was very invested in gaining knowledge about right around everything. (The books seemed to be sorted by topic. There were some on Ancient Egypt or history and another shelf over there would be a few strewn about dark fantasy novels, alongside Thrillers or any of those likes. Even a few books on technical advancements followed by a surprisingly large amount of cook books.)
Strangely enough there seemed to be no walls, or at least they weren't in sight. While the shelves took up a lot of room, the rest was draped by heavy looking curtains and no way to look behind them... they were either stuck this way or simply not movable by another than the creator of the room.
Alongside this odd sight there was a large, wonderful looking armchair by a few shelves beneath the picture of a floating window that was overflowing with the wondrous sight of a dark red sun vanishing into the ocean and leaving the marvelous sight of a plump few clouds tainted in violets, roses and reds behind.
Beside the armchair was a small side table almost overflowing with some books and even magazines on a width of different topics. Beside that there was a lighter shape on the floor, like some piece of furniture used to dwell here but had been removed. The spot on the ground was the only one that looked to be dusty.
The colors of the room were leaning towards darker greys and violets and just now there seemed to be a pair of doors coming into focus somewhere in the very back, almost hidden behind a pair of curtains as well. One of them was like molten tar and obsidian combined, it looked like it had been ripped into the very fabric of the room, unmovable and standing out like a sore thumb. Some oddly shaped horn like markings were protruding around it but it was firmly closed.
The other door was of light wood, greyed out and dusty and hung over with black bands of tape, attached to every which of these was a small bell, as if to alert him when somebody would step through. The wood looked dusty, untouched and was decorated along the seam with precisely set black inked hand prints.
All of them left hand-sided.
