The Hyuga Showdown (Neji's POV) - Chapter 2

Well, I think, this must be a speedrun record for me on how quickly I completed another chapter to a story, period. Even though, I have to admit, I kind of cheated on this one, because I had already written one portion of this chapter, right here: Tenten's Untold Backstory.

Except here, I kind of extended it for Neji's view on things, wanting him to comment on how Tenten's backstory really moved him on a deep-rooted level. It just fit the occasion, and that was missing for me up there.

But now, things get serious, because Hiashi does not plan on going easy on Neji, knowing exactly, he must have been the one to tell Naruto about all this, because well, no outsiders allowed in their family affairs. Which is why, Tenten had to stay out of this, much to her chagrin.

So, if you weren't already feeling sad for Neji, Tenten's backstory, as a refresher, will definitely punch you back into a corner. Enjoy.

About Sakon and Ukon?

They're so interesting omg! I've always wondered about their kekkei genkai, how much of it is genetic and how much was done by Orochimaru. Their co-ordination during battles is so cool to see too.

Their character design is especially good, seeing a character with an androgynous look AND a deep voice is rare, so I really like that about them.

In terms of character interactions, I think Sakon is most likely closest with Tayuya 'cause he likes annoying her, then Kidomaru because they have similar high-energy personalities, then Jirobo because even though they don't seem to have much in common he clearly cares about him. Ukon probably doesn't like any of them very much, and just kind of talks to them when he absolutely had to. I personally don't think any of the sound four like Kimimaro very much, but that might be just me lolol. I actually ship Sakon with Tayuya, but that also might just be me haha.

Overall, really interesting characters, deserved to live longer than they did.
