Oh, Prime!Megasound hits different, it's so wonderful. Any headcanons on them?

I do!

- They like to get up before anyone else and drink a morning cube together. Sometimes they won't even talk (well, maybe not talk, but exchange units of language), they'll just silently enjoy one another's company.

- They're passionate behind closed doors, but not terribly kinky or inventive.

- Soundwave is one of the few beings in existence that can still get Megatron to laugh a warm, genuine laugh.

- Their relationship is rooted in each one knowing the other can take care of himself, but a part of them will always be in a state of perpetual worry over one other.

I headcanon Soundwave’s frame to be a little smaller/more delicate than what we see in the IDW comics, because A) I like lethal little bitches, and B) I just. Don’t like his design that much lmao. Here’s sort of what I’m picturing.

Was that a little twitch of a digit behind Ravage’s audial in a pet? Nope, he’d deny it everyway from Sunday if he had to, but he wasn’t throwing the cat so there was hope…

“My door is locked. I’d rather not close my vents too because of how slaggin’ hot it gets in my room, but I’m about to.” He grumbles out, but he hasn’t exactly handed Ravage back to Soundwave yet. “Why can’t they go bother someone who isn’t prone to killing first thing in the morning?” And was that worry in his spark? A fear that he might actually hurt one of them? Never.

Soundwave, unfortunately for Barricade, is an observant mech. He has to be--it’s in the job description. It’s how he’s kept himself alive for all these centuries. A ghost of a smile quirks the corners of his lips.

Ravage, uncharacteristically, seems content to just dangle in Barricade’s grip. There’s a certain smug glint to his eyes... Soundwave folds his hands neatly in his lap. He feels that worry like a subtle note in a song.

“Perhaps they’ve taken a liking to you.”
