The Red string of fate- A beautiful asian legend❤
Do you believe in destiny? It is like the universe itself already planned everything for you since the day you've been born?
Anyway there was an ancient asian belief which are popular in japan and china. The story about it has been passed down since the ancient times. It kinda similar to the idea of soulmate or twin flame that we have. An invisible thread which the universe tied upon you since the day you've been born.
According to the Chinese legends, the thread is tied around the ankle of the people are destined to meet. And in the Japanese version, it switches place, here the red thread is tied to our pinkie.
┗━━━━━━━ ☆ ━━━━━━━┛ Two people who are connected in this way are bound together by Fate itself. Sooner or later, they are destined to meet, no matter how far apart they live or how much their life circumstances differ. And, when it happens — that encounter is certain to profoundly affect both of them. The strings can sometimes stretch and become tangled, which could postpone the fateful meeting. But — those ties will never be broken.
According to the Japanese legend, this thread emanating from the heart doesn’t end at the tip of the finger. It continues in the form of an invisible red string, which ’’flows’’ out of your pinkie and goes on to intertwine with the red strings of other people — connecting your heart with theirs.
the one that connects the heart with your pinky finger! Formed by the ulnar artery, this channel makes your least notable finger a true "representative" of your heart. For this reason, in many cultures, when two people make a truce, or swear a vow, they do it by crossing their pinkies.
It's like you tied your promise or vow into someones heart and that is why, doing a pinky promise with someone is a serious matter. It is a sacred ritual! And must not be taken as a joke time!.
Remember that feeling you have when you meet someone for the first time, that special connection you feel. Like the universe conspired in helping you find that one person. These are the rare moments that make you believe in destiny, right?
