I’d imagine a lot of officers were heartbroken over the death of cole.
I’m sure they were.
I mentioned this once before, a long time ago -- but
My grandfather was a New York state Cop. His son, my uncle, died when he was 22 in a car accident. The entire fucking precinct and their families were there at the funeral.
Cops from other precincts came to the funeral.
There was a police escort for my family and the entire line of cars that came for the funeral.
They shut an entire highway down.
Because a cop’s son died.
So I can assure you that while they may not have closed an entire highway, this is probably how Cole’s funeral went. The DPD is probably bigger than the precinct my grandfather worked at in new york too so lord only knows how many cops/friends Hank had. But every single one of them was fucked up about Cole’s death.
