I hope this is the right place to register your quirks. Basically, as long as I touch something, (but only with my hands. Just brushing up against it doesn’t work) both living and non-living, I can silence any sound they make, no matter how loud it is! For example, something noisy, like a vacuum! As long as I keep contact with it, I can vacuum in silence. It’s a nice quirk, but as you can imagine, it can have many drawbacks to it, depending on what you’re touching, like a phone. I either have to put it on speaker and lay it down so I can actually hear what someone is saying, or hold it with my shoulder. I don’t really have a set name for it right now, but there it is!

IF YOU WERE TO TOUCH A BOOMBOX HITTING OUT SOME MAJOR BASS, WOULD YOU STILL FEEL THE VIBRATIONS EVEN THOUGH IT’S TOTALLY SILENT? LET’S SAY YOU HAVE A WOODEN BAT AND YOU SMASH IT AGAINST A GLASS WINDOW. SINCE YOU’RE TOUCHING AND SILENCING THE BAT BUT NOT THE WINDOW, WILL YOU HEAR THE CRASH WHEN THEY COLLIDE? IF YOU TOUCHED A PERSON, WOULD JUST THEIR VOCAL SOUNDS BE MUTED OR WOULD IT ALSO WORK ON THINGS LIKE POPPING JOINTS AND FOOTSTEPS? CAN YOU/HOW OFTEN DO YOU ACCIDENTALLY MUTE YOURSELF?
FULL DISCLOSURE: I WANT TO CHECK OUT THIS QUIRK WITH YOU. SINCE I SEE SOUND WAVES, IT’D BE COOL TO KNOW IF I’D STILL SEE THEM FROM SOMETHING YOU’VE SILENCED. WE COULD DEF MAKE IT A FAMILY OUTING! WE CAN COMPARE YOUR MUTING TO SHOUTA ERASERHEAD’S ERASURE, TEST IT ON ‘ZASHI PRESENT MIC, AND FOR AN EXTRA TREAT, FIND OUT IF A SILENCED RESPONSE WILL STILL ACTIVATE HITOSHI’S BRAINWASHING!
