my melodramatic, wannabe Hamlet boys
Bitch, I’m sorry but if they don’t redeem Kylo Ren, I’ll file a complaint to LF and Disney for making him so bloody attractive in the first place with those puppy eyes, glorious mane, and marble mountain tiddies.
Ben Solo, The Last Jedi; directed by Rian Johnson; released December 15, 2017 Anakin Skywalker, Darth Vader #22; art by Guiseppe Camuncoli; released October 17, 2018
Alas, poor helmet…
I'm listening to the Lion King ost and I would love it if Ben Solo's return was similar to the 'Remember' scene.
Straight the fuck up, I can't even watch the Lion King without ugly crying lol. Given that there are definitely elements of Hamlet in the ST (lots of visual, thematic, etc), which is similar in the LK, I wouldn't be super surprised to see some shadows of that in TRoS.
Whether it's with a Word Between Worlds type scenario, or Ben's memories, or something else, expect to see me absolutely lose my shit in the theatres if we get a moment like this.
And, given that I think Ben needs to do some reflection and come to the decision on his own that he wants to change, a great place to start would be with his family and confronting what went wrong there-on all sides.
Cheers! I can't wait to see what's in store for Ben Solo!
Hamlet
If The Lion King is furry Hamlet, then is there a Hamlet ... in space?
Space Hamlet
I told my husband the reason I don't like warhammer 40k is because it's basically space hamlet, there's no hope, everyone is going to die. He said, "That's not true, Guillamon is coming back! He's been dead for 10,000 years!" To which I responded, "Ok, so Guildenstern is back to life, so what? Rosencratz is still dead..."
Happy Halloween from Kylo Ren!
