Did you used to be Fuck Yes Deadpool? I recently have been getting into editing and publishing and i remembered that she wanted to write and get published, and she wanted to get a rejection letter from Harlequin. Like not cause the book was so bad even they wouldn't want it, but for some other reason I can't quite recall. Are you her? I remembered her name and looked hee up and she is published which is great, but since you don't have your name in your bio I'm not 100% sure if you're the same person and if you don't wanna let me know and preserve your anonymity I totally understand. I just wanted to know if you ever got that rejection letter and what it was for exactly. It's been buggin me lol. It's been some years too.

I had a couple books published many years ago and it was my overall goal to get a rejection letter from Harlequin. Some of my peers were throwing rejection parties when they got 100 rejections and I thought that was really cool but writing was just a hobby for me so I needed a more simple goal. I love romance novels but I don't think I'm capable of writing one and I've always (ironically) loved how Harlequin is such a juggernaut in the industry simply because they can constantly turn out crap.

I think it would be really cool to get a rejection from such a big brand name that seems to accept just about everything but I also want to put work into it. I want to be happy with the work I did so this obviously will take time and effort despite the fact that my goal is a rejection. I especially want to meet all of their requirements so the rejection is due to something of substance like not being heteronormative enough or making the lead uncomfortably crippled.

I still really want to do this but I don't think it's something I can do anymore. My disability makes me gradually weaker and I'm at the point now where I can't type anymore so I have to use speech recognition software and it can be a huge pain in the ass. It can be okay at things like this but it's really hard to write a fictional narrative. It also has to be absolutely quiet for it to work which means I can only do it when I'm alone and I can't play music

Fuck my manager. We recently had a store meeting where she changed the shift duties and gave 3rd, my shift, a bunch on inane things to do. Like washing the windows EVERY NIGHT. We have giant windows. Well jokes on her. Last I checked counting the cigarettes and the morning paperwork aren't my shift duties... What a shame. I'd love to help like I have been, but I have to sweep the parking lot. By myself. At 4am. :) We need 2 ppl on 3rd now. It is the DMs flag store after all!! It must be perfect!

Hahaha! Congrats on offering the most unique session request I’ve gotten so far! Well, assuming the kids have access to their normal wizard/witch magic, they’ll certainly have a starting advantage in Sburb! Harry makes a certain amount of sense as a Page of Doom, since early on he’s always living outside the rules, yet later lays down the law. He could easily apply that sort of powerful sway to the session. I’m sure his best buddy Ron will love being called a Maid of Blood, heheh! Well, he certainly does keep the team working hard together, so can’t fault that! And of course a know-it-all like Hermione makes a perfect Mage of Light. At first I thought Seer was better for her, since she is only too happy to share her knowledge with everyone in the room, but given all the eye-rolling that comes of it, maybe a standalone Mage does fit best.

Now, your classpect for Neville I do really want to disagree with. Having been such a pathetic, less-than-confident figure a the start, only to reveal himself as The True Hero near the end makes me want to peg him as a dyed-in-the-wool Page of Hope! Still, this is your session idea, so we’ll assume that, being a Page of Blood, he’s going to be a big help to Ron’s teamwork-building skills later on. With most Pages, I feel like it’s a toss-up whether they’ll manage to hit their peak, but I believe in Neville “Most Likely to Grow Up into a Hunk” Longbottom! Anyways, we’ve got sweet Ginny being the cutest Rogue of Heart since Nepeta heself, helping everyone who needs to be together and show affection do so for their own good. And of course I’m delighted that you rounded out the roster with Luna as a Seer of Void, perfect for a spacing-out girl who’s always helpful, whether or not anybody understands or pays attention!

Of course, speaking of Space, it’s time to address the one respect in which this session is unfortunate: No Space or Time players. Certainly, the help of their magic will be tremendous in helping the Hogwarts alumni stay alive, but without a Forge, there’s no Genesis Frog, and without that, the session is Void from the start. I dunno, maybe they can magic themselves up a Forge and make it work? If anybody can figure it out, it’ll be Hermione and Luna. Good luck, you magical boys and girls!

I was gonna say it might be quite a chore to individually validate every single follower who wants a password but like, if it’s once a month, that shouldnt be tooo bad? (I say before I think of the storm on the horizon ._.)

Definitely if there was some sort “patreons only” space to even chat or talk about it would be ideal, I wonder if they creators would even make or handle like a discord server for it, and then I and anyone else could join into that

No I don’t. What I do is listen to a character playlist I made, my current Broadway obsession or video game soundtracks. Actually video game soundtracks are a great thing to listen to! They’re designed to help you focus after all, to pay attention to what’s going on and let time pass without realizing it. Nightcore remixes and some anime playslists help me too. That shiz slaps.
