The Addisons aren’t blood relatives but are a tight-knit community-- like close friends/neighbors/family-adjacent energy
White Addison is off-putting due to his unique color (when he came into existence, he was supposed to be a Yellow Addison, but something went wrong). He's very sensitive/self-conscious about his appearance in-general (body dysmorphia)
While only a little bit shorter than the other Addisons, he has HUGE Napoleon Syndrome. Angry chihuahua energy.
A cheeky little shit with Middle-Child-attitude that the Addisons begrudgingly tolerate. He’s the kind of guy who throws stones at frogs in jest, not realizing/caring that they die in earnest.
Idolizes fame, fortune, and the fast life; dreams of making it big, owning fancy cars, and travelling to new places. Talks a big talk, even though he can’t really walk the walk.
Learns quickly to hide his true self and put on a Customer Service Facade in order to make sales; but as hard as he tries he can’t help but be himself and screw it all up
Lack of sales leads to him being in constant debt to other people, which irrevocably bruises his already fragile pride
Deep-seeded anger over a perceived lack of control over his own life. Takes it out on everyone around him, but it’s usually dismissed as him just being a ‘lovable scamp’.
“I’d sell my soul to Satan for one corn chip.”

STAGE 2: THE WILLING EVIL PAWN
Satan Gaster: “...well I don’t have corn chips, but--” Spamton: “DEAL!!!”
Gaster offers White Addison priceless information and the powerful ability to freely travel to other Dark Worlds, so long as White becomes his ‘puppet’ and does whatever Gaster needs of him (mostly just being at the right place at the right time to influence the timeline).
White thinks this deal will be worthwhile because he’ll totally pull a fast one on this Gaster guy and regain control of his life once he has what he needs from him. (Oh, the sweet summer child...)
White reinvents himself as ‘Spamton G. Spamton!’ (the G stands for ‘Gaster’, but he tells everyone that it’s ‘Grand’), dying his hair black and getting a red suit (that totally isn’t a ripoff of his idol, Tenna)
Spamton starts making bank on stocks and shady speculative business deals in a way that only someone who can see the future could. This is thanks to his clandestine ‘Sponsor’ feeding him information. That foresight includes parts of The Prophecy.
Skyrockets to fortune and, consequently, fame. At first he's simply 'the Email Guy', but be quickly becomes a mogul of Fashion and Industry. Runs the fashion brand 'Big Shot Bowties' and the car dealership- ‘Big Shot Autos’. Gets multiple cars-- including the Cungadero he’s always wanted.
HUGE EGO TRIP. Absolutely high on his own hype. Selfish doesn’t even BEGIN to describe it. An absolute heartless villain of a businessman who would happily sacrifice anyone for his own gains. Patrick Bateman energy
Moves into the Queen’s Mansion and learns about the Neo suit in the basement. Also learns about the Shadow Crystal inside of it, but is warned by Gaster not to touch it because 'it's power is dangerous and unwieldy for someone of your level'.
Spam’s fascination/obsession with religion/philosophy/meta-- all the Heaven, Lightener, SOUL, Angel stuff-- begins here.

STAGE 3: THE BIG SHOT
“The Lord of Screens cleaved red by blade? I think you mean ‘a perfect opportunity’~”
Joins the TV Crew totally intending to betray Tenna and take over the studio for himself, once Tenna is inevitably killed.
Starts off as the guy in charge of the Mail Room (which would later be torn down and converted to the Z-Rank Room), as well as the main actor in most commercials (a real Billy Mays of sorts).
Is made fun of for aping Tenna’s suit; is given a new one so that he matches Tenna without being a straight-up copy.
Most of the TV time crew can tell he’s a sleaze who can’t be trusted, and are creeped out by his ability to accurately predict the weirdest of things. Nonetheless, they cannot deny his charisma and stage presence.
Is revered/beloved by the Pippins, thanks to his gambling prowess and eagerness to indulge in vices. They encourage the worst in each other, much to the chagrin of the rest of the crew.
Spamton slowly starts to realize that he might actually like Acting more than Sales. The profession unlocks the obnoxious part of him that he’s oppressed all his life out of shame, and it feels amazing.
Because of his connection to the higher dimension via Gaster, Spamton comes into contact with ‘the REAL Mike’-- who gifts him a pair of goofy looking yellow and pink glasses. “Hold onto those... they will be important later.”
Schmoozes with Tenna in order to gain status and become his second-hand-man in the studio, eventually becoming official husbands Business Partners and sharing the S-Rank Changing Room.
They start a longform infomercial segment together called ‘Spamton and Tenna’s TV TIME!’
“All part of the plan. No feelings here. He’s totally just a schmuck falling for my scheme. Not like he’s my FRIEND or anything, haha.....”

STAGE 4: THE REFORMED
“...SHIT. I LOVE HIM. FUCK. OH NO.”
The Grinch's heart grew three sizes that day!
Spamton’s relationship to Tenna doesn’t take long to evolve from Rivals to Business Partners to Friends to Best Friends to Friends with Benefits to Lovers.
Seals his 'business' partnership to Tenna by crafting a set of matching Commemorative Rings. The rings, crafted from one of Tenna's nose flowers and one of Spamton's feathers, have magical properties and are tied to Spamton and Tenna's feelings towards each other.
It’s not just Tenna-- Spamton’s started growing fond of everyone in TV World. Mainly because they treat him in a no-nonsense way that makes him feel good about himself, in a way nobody who knew him from Cyber World ever did.
Guilt overwhelms him as he starts to become self-aware of how his actions have hurt everyone he’s ever ‘done business with’ (taken advantage of). He regrets ever taking Gaster’s deal.
His creepy Customer Service Facade falters, and his much more brash natural personality comes out. (Ironically, it seems to be appreciated by Tenna and the others.)
His relationship to Tenna is still toxic, though. Spamton wanting to be close to him, then cursing himself for getting attached to a dead man, but unable to stay away. They fight, they make up, the cycle constantly repeats itself.
Spamton’s puffed-up bravado is replaced with sleep-deprived despair as he now dreads what he once looked forward to. His coworkers start worrying about his health as it begins to impact his work.
Spamton is terrified of betraying Gaster-- but is given hope when Tenna offers to make him a TV Star. He wouldn’t need to work in Sales if he could just work here, right? He wouldn’t need Gaster’s help anymore... right?
Unfortunately, Tenna’s got his own agenda. His Contract for Stardom requires Spamton to reveal the truth behind his mysterious Benefactor. Spamton hesitates to tell Tenna about his impending doom... but he figures that the man he loves deserves to finally know the truth, and signs the deal.
Then... Spamton gets another phone call...

STAGE 5: THE FORSAKEN
[[Top Ten Heel-Face Door-Slams of all time!]]
Gaster IMMEDIATELY shuts down Spamton’s attempt to share The Prophecy with Tenna... by hacking into Spamton’s source code. Essentially fucking up Spamton’s ability to speak and causing him to start painfully glitching out whenever he tries to tell dangerous truths.
Panicked and terrified, Spamton immediately drops the phone and runs out of TV world-- hoping that someone from Cyberworld might be able to fix him and free him from Gaster’s punishment.
Unfortunately, Spamton realizes that his ‘benevolent God’ has cursed him with something no mortal can free him from. And worse-- he has lost the ability to travel between Dark Worlds. He’s trapped in Cyberworld and can’t go back to Tenna. To the one place that could have possibly saved him from this fate...
Gaster keeps calling Spamton and giving him instructions, but Spam refuses to follow them on principle. He fights and struggles as everything starts to crumble around him...
Spamton pleads for help from anyone-- but since he was a total asshole to everyone he knew in Cyber World, no one is willing to help him. They don’t believe him when he tells them he’s changed. He gives up and figures the only person that can help him is himself.
Has to stop wearing his Commemorative Ring because the magic bond between him and Tenna has been soured, corrupting it into the Thorn Ring.
Out of desperation, Spamton goes against Gaster's warning and starts tinkering with the Neo suit in the basement- hoping the Shadow Crystal inside can provide him with the information he seeks. Unfortunately, the visions provided by the Shadow Crystal ARE too much for him-- causing his eyes to burn up in holy light as he is blinded. Without wearing the special glasses Mike gifted him, he literally cannot see at all anymore.
After learning the hard way that only the Neo Body would be able to weild the Shadow Crystal, Spamton prays… for the real Mike, for the Lightener who created Neo, for literally anyone powerful enough to help him. To find a way to make him strong enough to see past the darkness.
The last phone call Spamton gets from Gaster is one prophesying Spamton’s OWN demise in the Queen’s acid pools. Sending Spamton into a panic as he runs out of the Queen’s castle, losing his apartment and the last of his possessions for good, as the receiver is once again left hanging...
Spamton curses himself for running out of the castle and leaving the Neo suit behind. Proceeding to try his damnest to get back in, and getting brutally kicked out every time.
Spamton tries to get into the castle by pretending to be Swatch, but his ruse is quickly seen through, and he is surrounded by Swatchlings. As he runs from them, he finds himself deep in Queen’s castle... by the Acid Pools... A struggle ensues, and in the scuffle... Spamton falls in...

STAGE 6: THE BROKEN PUPPET
“IT BURNS...! IT BURNS!!!”
The only parts of Spamton that could be recovered from the melted pool of flesh were some feathers, his skeleton... and the strange glasses he was wearing. Queen and some Ambyu-Lances work together to save his life-- reconstructing his body from blocky code chunks... resulting in his transformation into a marionette.
(To spell it out-- Mike’s interference via The Dealmaker Glasses is the only reason Spamton survived Gaster's prophesized demise. Spam realizes this, and it's part of the reason he's so fond of Mike specifically.)
Now it’s not just his voice that glitches-- his memories and sense of self have been completely compromised. The fact that he can function at all is shocking.
His existence violently fluctuates from the existential numbness of being a doll (drinking, having sex, etc don't do anything for him anymore) and the excruciating pain of his code, the source of his very being, bending and breaking every time he glitches out.
“Love was a mistake. I never would have gotten into this f@&$ing mess if I hadn’t fallen for that damn CRT-!!!” ...and just like that, Tenna has become his #1 Enemy, alongside Gaster
LIVING IN A GODDAMN GARBAGE CAN
The only thing stronger than his despair is his desire to watch the world burn.

STAGE 7: THE FRIENDLY DEALMAKER
Calms tf down after learning the Power of Friendship from The Fun Gang-- more specifically, after forming a genuine connection with Kris. Someone who also understands what it’s like to be an abused pawn.
Finally someone is taking care of this poor disabled homeless man. He gets a much-needed bath.
“Spamton, eat a Snickers.” The care causes Spamton’s glitching to become less violent, and the reduced pain makes him slightly less unhinged and slightly more well-adjusted than before.
Still resents Tenna and, after observing all of Tenna’s behaviours, thinks Tenna doesn’t give a shit about him in return. Is initially glad to see The Knight cut Tenna down.
However-- seeing poor Tenna lying dead in the snow breaks Spamton, and all the repressed feelings (love) come back in full force.
Helps Susie repair Tenna. Afterwards, in Castle Town, he reconciles with Tenna. There is much rejoicing.
Feeling on a roll, Spamton also reaches out to the Cyberworld Darkeners. There is still a lot of resentment amongst them, but a lot of them also feel bad for what happened to Spamton. So his reputation amongst his fellow Cyberworlders is somewhat patched up.
The Addisons are especially torn-- but in the end they begrudgingly agree that ‘family is family’ and that Spamton is ‘Welcome back with them any time’.
Who knows what future Chapters have in store for Spamton? WE’LL HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE...

STAGE 8: FUTURE AU SHENANIGANS
[[Warning: Breaking from the Canon starts Here]]
Tenna and Spamton fall back in love with each other in Castle Town and choose to become un-divorced.
Spamton keeps the NEO body, able to transform back and fourth from it and his regular form. Unfortunately, it is extremely nerfed because it no longer has the Shadow Crystal powering it. Fortunately, this means Spamton is able to control it and not lose his sanity when transformed.
When Tenna finds a new home with Nobody, Spamton asks Kris to go with him. Kris begrudgingly goes through the hassle of copying a spam email (as well as the MS paint drawing of NEO from the Recycle Bin) onto a little toy keychain flash-drive... then instructing Nobody to clip it onto one of Tenna’s antennae. Nobody is confused by this, but thinks this is adorably silly, so does it anyway.
When Nobody dreams, they enter into the Dark World of their bedroom, where they become Mettaton and befriend Tenna and Spamton. The three larger-than-life personalities restart TV Time as a joint-venture variety show-- broadcasting to all the Dark Worlds and having segments based on whatever adventures the SOUL is currently going through.
Spamton feels threatened by Mettaton at first, and the two don’t get along. Especially when Spamton reveals he can freely change into his Neo form-- which Mettaton recognizes as the discarded first draft of HIS ideal form. Mettaton accuses Spamton of stealing it-- it’s a whole ordeal.
Eventually, their mutual love of Tenna causes Spamton and Mettaton to get over their differences and become friends. Perhaps even... lovers? ...aND THUS THE POLYCULE IS FORMED.
Spamton feels like he’s finally come into his own. Being a salesman now comes second to his true passions-- acting and inventing. Performing on stage and/or for the camera, as well as helping Mettaton with his dream of going to college for robotics in the Light World.
Spamton still feels Gaster’s strings on him, but they have become far less loud. Less restricting. Mettaton’s light helps him see past the darkness. His new life feels more free than he ever felt before.
