I am in so many fandoms my brain cannot keep up. Last week I was neck-deep in my LoZ fixation. This week? MCYT. Rats. Pirates. Rats in Paris. Misadventures. Empires. Life Series.
To be fair, those two are my more long-term fixations compared to the rest. I’m still in the TMNT community, but I wouldn’t say I’m fixated on it anymore. Same with Cult of the Lamb.
LoZ and MCYT tend to swap places in terms of Forefront Fixation pretty regularly. I just had a period where LoZ stayed firmly front-and-center for months on end. Some new developments (*cough cough* Misadventures *cough cough*) dragged me into MCYT again.
I just rewatched all of Scott’s RatsS1 POV. And Martyn’s. And I also went through all of Martyn’s Pirates POV. And his Rats in Paris VODS. I watched all of the VODS because I’m INSANE. I skipped around here and there, since some streams weren’t really about content, just building, but most of them I did watch in the background of doing things.
And now I might watch Owen’s Pirates POV. I started watching it ages ago and didn’t finish.
I bet my LoZ fixation will rear its beautiful head again after the LU WAT next week, whether I write anything to not. Then again, it might not; the main way I interact with the LoZ fandom is through Tumblr, Discord, and fanfic, the last of which I’ve kinda wrung dry of truly immersive fics, many of which I’m waiting for updates on. Not quite sure what to do about that.
