Segway Speedway (travel idea)

Here’s one for you DM’s that want an odd way for travel.

The players are traveling about a town, when they start to hear a low humming sound. A little while later form hearing this sound, they will be encountered by a very small gnome [who is smaller than regular gnomes] on a segway. The segway should be something the players haven’t seen before, & if they ask where this device came from, the gnome will say that it was ”taken from the future of a different world”.

The gnome will say that their are [exactly party amount -2] of them & that it will cost them [x amount of gold] per hour to use. If the players agree, they get to use the segway, which will have a natural speed of 15ft, but can be brought up to 50 if used with great finesse.
