i made some fankids for those twipiedash designs i made because um. i can?
i haven’t decided a LOT lot about them yet but i do have some things to share!
Sunburn is actually from a WAY old design i made for a pinkiedash kid years ago (i mean YEARS) named Sunrise. that’s actually canonically his deadname now just for a fun callback, not because the name made him dysphoric or anything but he just grew up to be a very angsty and rebellious troublemaker so he thought that name sounded too ‘cutesy’ for his vibe and changed it to something EDGY and unpleasant sounding instead. it probably changes to be less… very teenager-y as he gets older. essentially he got his moms’ habit of pranking and took it too far, instead of aspiring to be a good time for EVERYPONY he takes out his insecurities in ways to make himself feel better without paying much mind to how others feel.
Milky Way is my favorite. i made them maaaybe a year ago? possibly more. but i’ve always enjoyed their design so they were the first one i drew before i decided i wanted to give her some siblings! she’s very laid back and chill so she never lets her brother bother her. he eventually gave up trying, but unfortunately that left him to pick on Speedreader the most. she’s very anxious and paranoid because of the way her brother treated her growing up. so Milky has to be the voice of reason despite not reeeally having the best advice all the time (such as “don’t care as much ez” “just dont let him bother you” without explaining how) so they gotta rely on their moms for that a lot.
Speedreader has the least going on in terms of what i want to do with her. i think she’d spend a lot of time with auntie Fluttershy because they are very similar in demeanor. she and Sunburn both need cutie marks still and i gotta figure out orientations for them all. i just wanted to share what i have now because i’ll be busy tomorrow and won’t have any time to work on these guys :( i don’t have all their ages worked out but i think i’ll make them oldest to youngest in the image for the time being.
OH YEAH i also changed my pinkie design so the kids were made with her new design in mind instead!
