“New rule. No one pushes anyone into lava for any reason.” Time glared at the trio avoiding his gaze, “and that goes for you three especially. Just because your animations are funny doesn’t mean everyone else’s are too.”

Also I encountered an interesting glitch during my playthrough, I managed to move Isa???
I did it a second time later on when talking to Mira in the snack room leading to floor 2, and I managed to make it out of the door, though Mira didn’t come with.
The leaving dialogue stacked with the convo, and it let me zone out in the overworld AND I THINK IN A CONVO THAT YOU CAN’T ZONE OUT DURING??? It was the convo for picking up the key in the journal for the final floor.
I think it’s related to holding a direction during a break in the dialogue while zoning out??? Maybe??? That’s my best theory. I also had autorun on, just in case that’s relevant.
This could be a speedrun strat??? It wore off after I think the star crest sadness, but I don’t remember exactly. Skipping convos you can’t normally seems useful. Idk. Could also be PS5 exclusive, but idk that’s just what platform I’m playing on, so maybe.
Here’s a video, (ignore my befuddled voice, I’ve done no voice training and I had only been awake for like an hour)
in a newly discovered speedrun exploit by a couple of real wizards in the community, it turns out your party members don't actually switch to "voidfished" (the condition where they ignore all your instructions and advice) until almost the end of the static cutscene. so you can actually use some frame-perfect inputs while a certain scene is loading to instruct a party member to attack you, and if you make sure your HP is low enough going in, this will kill you. the death sequence gets prioritized and it cancels the memory wipe, but it still counts the scene as "completed" and you start the next part with all your abilities and memory logs still accessible.
unfortunately even with this exploit nobody's figured out how to make the next bit take any less than ten years, so we're still trying to figure out how to make this useful. but it's pretty cool nonetheless!
Out of curiosity, what was your route for the 10/5 hour achievements? Did u get extra mask shards or abilities or charms? As someone who recently completed those, I’m really interested in how other ppl did it.
(Btw u can answer this publicly if u want)
This charm setup, plus 1 extra mask and 1 nail upgrade.
