Opinion on driders/spider hybrids? My personal favorites are

1. peacock spider driders who dances to impress you. Just a small silly guy trying to look nice, totally not someone who climbs into your apartment at two in the morning to wrap you up and take you home.

2. Tarantula driders who are big and terrifying, but just the sweetest giant thing who brings you gifts ranging from food to clothes with their scent on them to plushies with cameras.

3. Socially awkward trapdoor spiders who lay traps for you and your friends on camping trips to kill your friends and keep you there invite you to a tea party.

Oh my gosh, I love driders!!! Fun fact, my first ever fic I posted on tumblr was a cute little drider post. Sadly I haven’t written much driders or spider hybrids since but I really should!!

These are literally all such cute ideas I’m actually obsessed with them. I was oooing and aweing while reading haha. And I love how all of them are sweet with like a tinge of Yandere aftertaste!!

Like oh yeah, peacock spider drider is just a silly little guy… who’ll kidnap you in the dead of night and take you home with him! Tarantula drider is such a sweetheart who gives you the nicest gifts— in order to spy on you and invade your privacy. And trapdoor spider hybrid is all soft and awkward until he’s murdering anyone who comes near you and kidnaps you!

It’s brilliant and I’d actually really love to write all these sometime bc I think they’d be so funny but also lowkey hot too.
