i made a spidersona not too long ago, their name is Spider-Bite.

they can’t turn off the poison powers, and it altered their appearance, so they are Spider-Bite 24/7. can’t really hold down a job with their powers. they almost never take off the suit as it helps to dilute the poison they secrete, and keeps other people safe. if they had a bit more trauma it may have made for a villain origin story

while their powers are a bit concerning, they’re too lazy to be a villain, it seems like a lot of time and effort…being a hero means they can usually get a free donut if the stop a robbery once in a while and not get punched in the face by any superheroes

as a touch-starved loner, the symbiote part of their spider-journey was a welcome change, i haven’t decided if they ever really gave it up. maybe just ditched the costume change. it’s nice to have a little guy who loves you unconditionally and that your poison can’t kill

in terms of design, i kind of wish i’d given them a flat chest and kept the legs and hips the same, but as a big-chested nonbinary person, i think i was venting a bit lol

Marvel Will Introduce a Completely New Spider-Man This Summer

Marvel's solicitation info for May reveals new Spidey-themed superhero is swinging into the pages of Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.

Pros:

- Tom Taylor has done okay thus far so this could be good

- Spider-Bite isn’t...the worst name they could’ve come up with I guess

- If Spidey is in a teaching role that’s something we could all get behind

Cons:

- Don’t we have enough Spider people running around currently with even more old favs benched?

- Spider-Bite isnn’t...the best name they could’ve come up with either

- If Spidey IS gonna be a teacher shouldn’t it be to Miles?
