spider-verse oc posting time !! @snail-yaoi-enthusiast
Alright, so theres Kat Bianco/Spinnerette (they/them), Aubrey Flores/Spider-Silk (they/she), Trisha Terrie/Star-Spider (She/her), and Trisha's guy in the chair Mandy Karlson/Spyboy (he/they)
Trisha and Mandy are mainly silly ocs, with Trish being 19 and Mandy being 18, they're both uni students who have no idea how to take a break, and are the definition of "stupid geniuses".
Kat and Aubrey's stories are far more serious, Kat is 14 while Aubrey is 15, and neither had the best start to their spidering adventures.
Both had their primary canon events quite early, with the person they lost being their own dimensions version of each other, their best friends.
in the beginning, Aubrey is the only one apart of the spider-society, and is sent to another dimension for a quick mission, they don't bother to figure out much about it other than the fact that it has a spider and where its based, she doesn't know the spider-person's identity, name, or even how they look, for both their civilian and hero forms.
While there, Aubrey's dimension hopper watch (I forgot the name) breaks, leaving them stranded for the time being.
While attempting to find the parts to fix the machine, they run into this universe's spider-person, Spinnerette. Who—while being excitable and extremely intrigued by the concept of dimensional travel—keeps their identity close knit, refusing to reveal the person behind the mask, so Aubrey does the same, introducing herself only as "Spider-silk" and never once removing her mask near them.
as the time stretches along, Aubrey begins to grieve their Kat more and more, watching time slip from their hands without a chance to visit their grave, to talk to the stone for just a bit longer.
to try and cope with this overwhelming grief of hers, they visit the graveyard, only to find their own name in place of where Kats would usually be. Instead of the shock they would have expected to feel at this revelation, she feels oddly relieved despite their loss of life, they know that it means that Kat is okay.
Quietly, Aubrey leaves the graveyard, a single flower added to her own grave, and return to the abandoned apartment they've been staying at, swiping a jumper off a clothesline hung between buildings. The days were cooling, and they couldn't thermoregulate as well as she used to.
after a day or two, Spider-Silk rejoins Spinnerette on patrol, still wearing the jumper she grabbed as it is a particularly freezing night, and sitting on a building with the other when they faint, leaving Aubrey scrambling to grab them before they drop off the ledge.
Aubrey stares at the limp hero in her grasp, and makes a quick decision, grabbing them and hopping off into the night sky, swinging to their makeshift home, panicking all the way.
They hurl themselves into the window, carefully lowering Spinnerette onto the—surprisingly clean—bed, observing the other carefully.
Aubrey freezes, the other spider isn't breathing right, their fingerless gloves showing off purple digits.
Hypothermia.
Her panic clouds their thoughts, and they rip the mask off of the other, and is met with the face of someone who has been dead for a long time; Kat Bianco.
They have six more eyes than normal, each closed carefully, with puffy, untameable black hair that swoops in every direction.
Aubrey stares—probably for a bit longer than needed—before they finally regain control of their limbs, quickly shuffling around the abandoned apartment for extra blankets and heat packs, unceremoniously dumping them on the other.
Upon finishing her mad dash, Aubrey drops down on the bed as well, on the complete opposite side as Spinne- Kat. Jesus Christ.
anywayyyyy.. thats the plot I have, Kat and Aubrey fix the cool bracelet thingamajig, Kat joins the spider-society and they end up dating and hanging out at each other's dimensions on the weekends.
(the Kat+Aubrey part was 582 words..)
