What is your comic Namesake about :o ? I've seen it around and I'm a little curious.

Emma Crewe doesn’t care for books, but has the power to literally be lost in one.

When Emma lands in another world following a library fire, she discovers she’s a Namesake — one with the power to open portals to other worlds via the power of their name: strange, fantasy, and fairy-tale lands we know thanks to literature, cinema, and folks tales. The rules of Namesakes are quite clear - Alices always go to Wonderland. Wendys always go to Neverland. However, Emma finds herself in Oz, where she is expected to act as the latest in a long line of Dorothies. She instead unveils a magical conspiracy plot that’s more than 100 years in the making.

While Emma is stumbling down the Yellow Brick Road, her younger sister Elaine discovers she’s a Writer — one gifted with the power to make stories come to life. Will Elaine be her sister’s key back home?

Aided by magic-wielding twins from Oz, a half-Cheshire Alice, a devilishly charming Jack, a sword-wielding Lost Girl, a hungry card soldier, and a confused Canadian, Emma must walk through many stories to find everyone’s happy ending.

So essentially, it’s a fairy tale fantasy story about people who can open portals to fairy tale worlds, and this one girl and her sister who are at the center of it all and kick villainous butt while hanging out with cool witches and learning the meaning of family. It features cheshire cats and swords.

Also the art is cool I guess.

As someone who used to be an earth flighter I feel this hard, it sucks water and eart barely get any recognition

looks like a case of “if you want something done you have to do it yourself” so my new goal is to make some bomb ass water lore thats so good it makes everyone give a shit

So @spiderjar gave me a winsor and newton marker paper pad as a late birthday gift, and I wanted to thank her by making her a drawing on the paper she gave me. The character is her cute oc Owl!

ones a halfling rogue/cleric/wizard who used to be a kenku and the others a basard human kid whos a warlock of the raven queen so you know where my priorities lie

im mostly biased bc alba and dima are just piece of shit siblings in both universes where they coexist and i wrote most of dimas backstory for birbtown but yknow,,,,,,, hes good n i like this awkward man child

Do you have any certain type when you create your OCs? Do you tend to favour some certain traits or looks? It’s time to confessoh Fuck You uhhh. white hair, fucky eyes (particularly messed up/fucky right eyes), Smug Bastard or a weird relationship to morality (swinging either way -- either a very strong but unhealthy sense of it, or none at all)

I’m not sure if it helps but their relationship does read as that Dantalion does love him, they definitely have a more complicated and expansive dynamic than people would try to create
