HC: NSpideR Peni is a robot elemental, who has circuit board patterns all over kits skin and face

I love that circuit idea a lot!

Though I don't think there would be a robot elemental (at least not at the moment, Peni might be the first one if that is the case!). I can see her and her powers being a biological milestone for the world, showing that the magic of the world is evolving to incorporate robots into it a lot more (which goes into another ask I got recently about bio-robots I will answer soon lol).

Technically not a robot, but there are definitely a lot of similarities and a heightened connection to tech that Peni has that has made a lot of people wonder if kit was a secret robot (mainly kits peers).

Anyway! I like the idea that there are some skin conditions that show the inside of the body. I already showed this with Daray, whose skin shows his skeleton off. So Peni has a similar one (or maybe it's the same condition just a different specificity) that shows her nervous system (or like, the more major parts of the nervous system like how Daray's skin doesn't show every single bone).

That skin condition, along with Peni's tech magic combined to make kits styling more robotic/mechanical looking (like a circuit board) while also allowing kits eyes, nerve markings, and hair to actually glow (which can dim down at times or even brighten up).

All of this to say, technically Peni is not a robot elemental as those haven't really been seen before now, as robots are a fairly new phenomenon in the scope of the world. But now that robots and technology is a much bigger part of the world (with all the new tech, robots, EDM music, stuff like that), the world is evolving to reflect this change and it is showing a lot in the newer generations.

As for Peni's design, I kinda combined a bit of the Spiderverse version and comic version. It's mainly the Spiderverse design with small tweaks to the clothes and hair from the comic. I also chose to go with yellow eyes instead of red because the comic SP//DR suit had yellow eyes and thought that would be a nice addition! :3

Not only does it have the audacity to slowly crawl towards me. Nope, it keeps falling and dangling on a tiny thread just to tease me, before crawling up again to stick its butt back at the ceiling.

Now it's looming right above my head trying yo decide if it should just drop itself on me or not.

I’ve had this crack Eriverse AU idea with a Yinu ↔️Satoru, Peni ↔️ Suguru, and Shoko ↔️ Noir? swap AU… and I would like to hear what you think of it!/gen

Gona be honest with you, when I first saw that comment/ask thing earlier in the week, I thought it was for a Yinu and Peni swap, as tumblr cut off the full ask before it got to the JJK part, and so I immediately started thinking of things like Yinu killing her dad with plants and Peni being a prodigy techno kid or something.

But um, yea! I like that swap! I didn't look back at those original asks (i think it was multiple) that were sent before answering this!

Though, I honestly don't like to change ages all that much in swap AUs, unless it is something that can't be avoided, so it would be hard to have a swap AU that you are suggesting.

However, I am not totally against it!

Therte would have to be a MAJOR overhall to the universe though to make this happen. Since Yinu and Peni would probably be a bit older and possibly Noir being younger, while SaShiSu being younger overall in this AU.

Mainly I say an overhaul becauise Catherine was friends with Miguel and the whole Nueva York thing is pretty important to SaShiSu's story (and Peni's story).

Hmmm... I don't think I have the brain power to think of this all that much at the moment. But it definitely is a thinker! I think more would have to be swapped around in this case than just these three pairs for this kind of AU to work (I mean i could just make it work but I like thinking about this stuff way more intensly)

OH! YOu know what would be cool? Having Mama be in Miquel's place having Yinu be like a prodigy at controlling her powers, liek a shining example of what Nueva York (or whatever it would be called) could be for others!

Yinu ends up having a lot more freedom because she is Catherin's daughter and has pretty good control over her powers (other than killign her dad by accident) and she makes friends somehow with Peni and Noir!

The three do some shady business shit somehow, idk what, maybe selling flowers that Yinu makes and it turns out to be poisonous without Yinu realizing and she ends up killing people, or at least harming enough people, that the outside world can't ignore and so Catherine has to fully confine Yinu and her friends.

All the while Satoru is being paraded around as a prodigy violinist or something like that who plays for the Gojo family and NSR. Blue has friends with Shoko and Suguru who help with creating beats and stuff, but are very much more behind the scenes.

Instead of Neon J being the one to care the most about Yinu, it would be DJSS caring about Satoru and friends. So possibly a change in NSR is needed as well. But that is a later information piece to deal with that I can't process now!

But yea, I think this could be a very interesting AU idea! There was probably better ideas in the initial asks you sent, but this is what I got right now. Very cool idea, and can absolutely work with a bunch of tweaking (like I don't even know what happens to Miguel in this universe, possibly he goes to work for NSR instead? idk).

Fun fact! Ham and Noir were actually gonna be in that "Game Night" picture with Hobie (so was Lyla) but I ran out of space and didn't want to make a second page for a simple joke comic.

Definitely still workshopping Noir. They are basically gonna look like the comic version of themself. Messy hair, glasses, probably wears some googles every now and then (Noir on a motorcyle is definitely something I would like to draw, if I could draw bikes lol).

Ham on the other hand is very much NOT like her comic or even movie version. Mainly because the very cartoony stylization that Ham has won't perfectly fit with NSR. I was debating on having them more animal-like, kinda like Ellie, but idk, I liked this design I cam up with.

These are probably still beta designs so they might change around a little bit, but not a lot.

(This entire ask is a /j) Poor Ganke. Imagine being him, rushing to Nueva York for his best friend, ends up saving the day... only to realize his homie (who he may or may not have a crush on) has two? Three? Bitches... "COME ON IT'S NOT FAIR I HAVE NONE"

I think I have another ask for Ganke's design, so I just did something quick for this ask. But this is the first thing that came to my mind lol!

(also I tried naming this file "NoBitches" and apparently I already had a file named that. It's a wip that I will one day get back to).

For the drawing request, can we get any of the Arachnikids as young adults? Bc I loved that Peni design

First thing that came to mind was Miles and Gwen. Kine went off of some comic designs for them, probably gonna change these designs a bit when I take my time with any adult designs later.

Also! I'm so happy you like my Peni adult design! I had so much fun drawing kit!

The Miguel boss fight might be less of a staged boss fight but a "the entire building is in chaos" type of boss fight where Miguel chases after the Arachnikids through the entire Nueva York building (kinda like the ATSV chase scene with Miles) (with the people in cages cheering the Arachnikids on)

That could definitely be a way to go! I hadn't thought about it like a chase scene, though I doubt all the Arachnikids would have ran from Miguel (I can definitely see Hobie and Noir wanting to stand and fight instead of running away).

Maybe something happens where the Arachnikids make it to Miguel and try to attack him, only for him to just take their attacks and not be phased by it (like even Hobie's sonic boom barely made Miguel flinch) and that it what makes them decide to try and run to think of a better plan (queue the chase scene).

Don't know why you are saying people in cages though. Nueva York doesn't put people in like legit cages. Isolation rooms, yes (which is still not good but not an open air cage), so they couldn't really cheer.

Plus, with how angry Miguel is, I doubt a LOT of people would be cheering on the Arachnikids in fear that Miguel would switch his anger to them OR if he won then he would come after the cheerers (there would definitely be some cheering though, and some yelling out advice or telling Miguel to stop).

This also makes me wonder how much people know about what is going on. Like just seeing a bunch of teens run in the hall, using their powers while Miguel rips and tears apart the building running after them. That has to be a fucking weird and possibly terrifying thing to see if you have no idea what is going on.

Unless the Arachnikids actually made a huge announcement, most residents and even the average scientist and counselor wouldn't know what the fuck is going on.

If you wanted to do the announcement thing though, having Lyla be on the Arachnikids side (or like at least neutral) could be a way to do it, where she realizes that this revolution could actually help Miguel process his grief instead of suppressing it so she helps broadcast it (or she is just being fucking chaotic and does this for the shits and giggles, then blames it on Peni and/or Ganke for hacking her systems which I find a lot more funny honestly).
