"I thought I told you not to let anyone in," Tony grumbled at FRIDAY when he noticed Peter's presence in the holographic monitor.
"And I thought you might benefit from some help by capable hands," FRIDAY would reply, which made Tony drop the screwdriver on the table and sigh in irritation.
"My hand is perfectly capable of fixing my own builds," Tony argued, rubbing a hand down his face just as the kid finally reached his doorway. "What did you do, bribe her?" He asked, hand pointing in no particular direction in the space above. Then Tony grabbed his screwdriver again and went back to working on his own prosthetic. "D'you need something?"

“No… freaking… way! That’s so cool!” Peter interjected excitedly. “I mean, that makes sense. He was in space with you guys for a time, or at least that’s the word that got around. I’ve never actually met Thor, but he was one of the first superheroes that we ever heard about in school. Him and Ironman. They were like… THE coolest guys on the street. Actually they still are,” he said with a chuckle. He then quickly realized that he was getting sidetracked… again.
“Sorry. I didn’t mean… anyway. You and Thor huh? You guys are like… friends?” he asked curiously.
“Thor? Yeah we’re friends. He’s the whole reason I came to earth and made met with the other Avengers,” Rocket admitted.
It was a little awkward for him to even call someone a friend in reality, he had a certain hesitation unless he knew that person would treat him as an equal. Thor pretty much always had, which was why Rocket liked him.
“I’m friends with Banner too,” Rocket added, feeling it was fair to at least mention him since he was probably his second closest Earth friend.
“But you’re an Avenger now right? Don’t you guys hang out?”
@spideymn for Eilonwy / closed starter
The bar was quiet considering now was the time that most people came home, usually wanting to pop in for a drink or two before their dinner.. though it seemed this shift was a slow shift. "Eilonwy!" Her manager called, making the redhead look up "Stop daydreaming and serve some customers" Eilonwy was a pretty young woman, no older than twenty one, fair skin with freckles peppered across her nose and cheeks, her hair a fiery auburn shade that rivalled the flames themselves, her eyes a contrasting ocean blue.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm coming" Her accent wasn't American, it wasn't British, it wasn't even French or from any particular region at all. It was neither here, nor there, for Eilonwy never stayed in one place long enough to get their dialect. Blue hues found a rather young looking male at the bar, she rose her brow standing opposite, leaning slightly on the counter. "What can I get you?" She grabbed hold of a glass, showing the evident unusual scar upon her palm. It was a swirl yet shaped like a dragon, it looked like a burn on first glance.

Trick-or-Treat! I have come knocking on your door asking for a treat. You can give me whatever you wish! Then go to your friends Tumblr door and ask them for a treat! Happy Halloween! 🎃👻 (don’t answer until October 31)
"You're a little old for this, aren't you?" Tony asked with a wry smile. He offered an entire bag of potato chips.
A form moved through the trees. Shoes once travelling at a sprint, now shuffled through dried pine needles along the forest floor. The soldier's feet hardly lifted off the ground. Exhaustion left her knees buckling every so often. More than once, she'd woken on the ground, confused and unaware of when she'd fallen. But she kept getting up. She had to keep going.
Rockland. Her mind was fuzzy, yet she held the name close. Rockland. Her baby. Her old coworker had found her. Had reminded her of who she was. And the fire had ignited behind her eyes.
She'd fought her way out of Hydra's grasp, and had stayed in the brush as long as she could manage. The soldier had survived off the land. She'd gone days without sleeping, had hardly eaten. She had managed to find a blackberry bush, and some wild mint. It wasn't enough for a super soldier, but it was something. Her supply was dwindling by the time she reached the forest edge. By the time the property came into view. Great hunks of concrete and glass. For a moment she feared it was another Hydra base, but no. It was too visible. A part of her wanted to retreat back into the woods. She couldn't, though.
They had to have a bathroom somewhere in there. A bathroom meant running water. Which meant searing wounds cleaned, and a drink to soothe her aching head, and dry throat. She was so tired. Even trekking across the grass seemed a feat, never mind gathering the brains to strategize. She wouldn't be stepping through the front door. That much was certain.
The woman checked for any signs of movement before noting the nearest wall and making her way towards it. Pressing her uninjured palm to the surface, a web of turquoise energy seeped into the crevices. Within a few moments, she'd peeled back a crack in the wall and peered inside. No one in sight. Hopefully the facility was closed. A larger section of the wall rolled back as though made of paper, and she stepped through the makeshift doorway, and paused for a moment, listening.
Continued from here.
Bruce smiled as he saw Peter come in, but raised his eyebrow at the question, looking over at the bench for a moment, then back at the teenager.
“Which one, and may I ask why you need it first?” he asked, wanted to make sure his lab equipment wasn’t going to be used irresponsibly. It wasn’t out of mistrust, but Bruce always worked on the side of caution.
