Among the prettiest micro-flowers of mid-winter in full bloom. Eutaxia parvifolia is a spindly shrub endemic to a very small area in south-west Western Australia, but grows well in Sydney (on roughly the same latitude) producing thousands of tiny blooms. Lewisham.

Today's Walking Photo: I must admit, I’ve taken many photos similar to this one…but there’s just something irresistible about those spindly branches reaching sort of chaotically skyward, and then suddenly there’s that unmistakable bird-shaped silhouette. Also 10/10 to the bird for being a very cooperative subject, staying there a long time and offering me many different poses and angles.
