I haven't the foggiest idea why I drew Shruno again
...Then again, I don't really need a reason =3=
Aaaand here’s the group pic of my fave creatures from Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time!
Name: Lakitufo
Debut: Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
Oh. My. Goodness! Look at this! It’s so great! The little Lakitu! His little antennae! Look at him spin! Round and round! I could watch this gif forever.
You know, come to think of it, the first three Mario & Luigi games totally had a blast making funny variants for regular enemies. The first one, of course, was bean-themed. And Bowser’s Inside Story had both silly cells and Fawfulized guys! Partners in Time? Aliens! You want an alien Piranha Plant? Sure! Alien Wiggler? Why not!
Flying saucers? They’re pretty great. You have a funny cartoon alien, you just have to give them a UFO of some kind! And Lakitufo is no exception, complete with tractor beams they use to send down their minions! Tossing Spinies? That’s SO last century!
Who are their minions, you may ask? Why, it’s none other than the Spiny Shroopa! And... wow! Gee! These guys are kind of creepy, honestly! With their freaky long legs, and the way they rock back and forth... if it weren’t for their Eye-Void Face®, I’d be feeling threatened! They’re certainly quite different from regular Spinies... if anything, they look more like Bony Beetles!
Day 25
It’s literally one minute past midnight where I am, so I guess this is late lol. Anyways Shroobs! I love em! You love em! Don’t you? You will, won’t you? Please?
Not all Shroobified foes in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time were simple purple recolors...some were, but others went outta their way to change the original's design a bit. Spinies were one of these, and the Spiny Shrooba is much more menacing than the uncorrupted counterpart.
The mario and Luigi rpgs had some really neat looking enemies
Day 6! Spiny Shroopa!!!
These guys have an absolutely breathtaking body plan I remember being stunned when I first saw them, bipedal alien frog spiky turtle guy, the designers were wildin out!! I love it!
