Does Harry think Umbridge dying was justified
i think that while harry’s anger often propels him into an extreme way of thinking , and he has in fact wished death upon dolores umbridge , if she were to die , he wouldn’t really . . . think much of it , but i guess depending on the manner of death , he may have felt that she had earned whatever it was.
if she dies in azkaban , where she ends up , he feels that’s justified , well earned. if she had been killed in the forest by the centaurs , i don’t know if he would have felt the same about it because he was directly connected to the incident. he may not have wholly regretted it , but there would have been some unease about it.
just the same , if she were to die during the second war in any way due to the horrid acts she carries out , he would certainly think it justified , but on the whole , it isn’t like he’s waiting around to see what becomes of every single one of his enemies. it isn’t something he’ll put too much thought into , but yeah , if you were to ask him , he wouldn’t at all feel sorry for whatever fate she finds.
