But uh, on the nature vs training thing,,, probably a bit of both?
I was scared to use public bathrooms in school and stuff cause i looked pretty androgynous from a young age and didnt wanna get hassled (living that pre t life, thank god it’s over), so i kind of developed a bigger bladder from that i think?
Starting to actively engage in holding as a kink thing though definitely increased my volume vs length of time holding though for sure. I didn’t deliberately train per se, but i guess some things i’ve done as habits have helped? Please take everything i say with a heaped tablespoon of salt cause idk what im saying, but some things i can think of areeee
- drinking a lot of water before bed, because i liked waking up full. I used to drink like a whole litre before i slept and would wake up bursting to pee in the morning. I think the combo of being asleep where your body slows your urine processes and also being numbed more to the building desperation in my sleep vs when im awake kind of trained my bladder to hold a larger volume without me trying as much. However i will say this can backfire and make you need to get up and pee in the night, and i definitely cant drink a whole litre anymore. But it is good fun and i still nearly always drink like a 300-400ml glass before bed so i wake up, mildly full
- skipping unnecessary pees aka. The just in case pees. Disclaimer: i still 100% do these, especially before long car rides and stuff even if i dont need to go or whatever. However, in day to day life where i can afford to and know there’s still a toilet nearby if i need it, i will skip my just in case pees. I won’t always hold until i’m bursting every time, but regularly pushing my bladder to just hold a little more beyond mild discomfort a) feels good and b) can surprise you with how much you can hold in a casual setting. Realising your bladder can handle more than you think can encourage you to push yourself a little more each time until you’re holding way more for way longer than you think
- distractions combined with easily accessible fluids. I’ve found since working from home i hold way more way often, cause i’m just distracted easily chatting with my coworkers on discord and/or being swamped with work to do. This, combined with me nearly always having a bunch of water on my desk, means i can go hours and hours without realising until i get up and oh fUCK i need to piss i need to piss RIGHT NOW. Or if i’m gaming for example, i’ll find myself squirming and wiggling promising myself “just one more quest task” before i go to the toilet, and then that turns into another 30-45 minutes of me getting progressively worse at the game but still refusing to go pee cause i wanna keep playing (and it feels good). Overall this works best with a task you can achieve a flow state in, cause the deeper into your task you are, the longer you can forget about needing to go.
I think those are the main things i’ve done to accidentally train my bladder? A combo of many fluids and distraction of some kind will get you a long way in getting a bigger bulge 👍 i hope these help?
