Happy five year anniversary to them 💕
I never even got to be a part of the splatocalypse much to my sadness but I was looking at the art for it to see what sides the characters were on.
Then I saw the little shared glance between agent 8 and agent 3- it feels like a shared sense of order and safety in eachother... but then again maybe I've been seeing too much shipping art recently 😭
splatfest outfit ideas I came up with for my gal plus a fan splatocalypse poster
ScreamInkTober #2 Splatocalypse
kinda unrendered srry 👍
“The Splatocalypse is upon us!”
The Final Fest of Splatoon 2 really was tense because Marina thought it was the end of Off the Hook.
Of course, it wasn't~
Chaos won, and we ended up on Splatsville on Splatoon 3 [And an -Order- DLC]
"Wonder what's goin' on over there... kinda looks like a party, doesn't it? Maybe we'll get to go to one one day..."
day 2 for ScreamInktober: Splatocalypse
I couldn't think of anything spooky but not too generic for this one(and by the time I did, I was mostly done with this), so have some basic character stuff instead :3c
I always write Ika as an angsty, loner-type, I should give them more whimsy more often. Let 'em be a kid a little, y'know?
no offense but i feel like those team order people who say that order isn't as cold as side order makes it out to be and that people dont understand their team choice are the ones who dont understand
we're talking about total order and total chaos. total order by nature is cold and devoid of emotion because it is safer to feel nothing than to risk feeling awful.
order is about a lack of risk and danger to get a safe, stable world of discipline. the ability to feel emotion is in itself a risk because there are bad emotions. a world without risks would not take the risk it is to feel.
a world without feelings is emotionless and cold. it is safe, and stable, and you never have to feel bad or scared or worry about choices and change, because there is no feeling, no choice, no change. everything is eternally silent, every choice is made for you, nothing ever changes.
that is a world of total order. your interpretation of order if youre one of these people is in actuality a balance between order and chaos. warmth, happiness, everything good and beautiful, every wonderful experience is sourced from chaos
because where order is nothing, chaos is everything. every risk and danger, every bad emotion and experience, but you get happiness and love and warmth too. every feeling, every choice, every change.
chaos is dangerous. you get the uncertainty of an ever changing world, the indecisiveness of choice, the pain of emotion.
sometimes the risk isnt worth it to take. sometimes it is. chaos is about taking risks, because if you never take risks you will never be happy.
order is about never being happy, because at least then you'll never have to hurt. the risk can never not be in your favor if you never take it.
the question "would you rather have a world of chaos or order" doesnt mean "would you rather have a world of rules or of no rules". it means "are you willing to take the risks and danger and pain necessary to be happy?" it means "will you take the chance of facing the bad things in life to get the good things, or are you content with neither?"
idk i think some of yall have a very surface level understanding of what splat2's finalfest truly meant. side order is the way it is because smollusk is trying to get a world of total order. this is coming from someone on team order btw im not saying this bc i hate order or something
hehe angst
