I DONT CARE how much he was offering...

I know part of being a SB is putting on an act but I just can’t bare to make myself, in my eyes, a minstrel show for some young SD who has a fucked up view of Black women. I was talking to a POT who was telling me he didn’t want a SB who was sweet. He wanted a black SB who was “hood and ghetto”.

I know exactly what he was talking about but a white man saying he wants a black woman who acts ghetto confirmed why I thought we weren’t a good match. He’s the kind of white person who finds black people acting stereotypically black as entertainment.

There’s just certain things I won’t do. I knew that if I were to agree to act like how he wants me to, I wouldn’t be able to look myself in the mirror. There are plenty of black “hood” women who are attractive and would be a wonderful SB idk why he wants me to act like that.

The reason it irked me was because it reminded me of past experiences at school and work with white people, white men especially, who tried to rile me up so I could act so called “hood”. I’m just over it.
