So I had a thought the other day, and it turned into a doodle.

SPLIT PERSONALITY AU

Optimus was given an assignment after taking down Megatron. But what he got was a betrayal from Ultra Magnus himself, and a long stay at a secret Elite Guard Science lab. There he endures countless tests, all of which done on his processor in order to achieve the perfect soldier: one that doesn’t question or challenge orders like Optimus was one to do. But instead of making the perfect soldier, they released a new enemy: Optimus himself.

So imagine— Optimus has often been one to keep his emotions in check, be very patient, bite his tongue when Sentinel gives him shit, and overall hides his rage and frustration as much as possible. So what happens when all that pent up anger is locked away, and then accidentally let loose?

You get a Nemesis Prime— an alternate personality to Optimus that likes to take over and wreak some well deserved revenge and havoc on the Autobots that have wronged him.

This AU was basically an idea for a story that involved Optimus having all that pent up anger and rage from the years of being dragged through the dirt released via his alternate personality Nemesis Prime— and he escapes from the lane thanks to Megatron, who escaped Autobot captivity soon after Optimus was sent to the lab. And from there, Megatron learns about Nemesis and realizes that this little bot that took him down is full of so much rage that he doesn’t know how to control it. So Megatron is the one to show him how to use his new found ability to its highest potential— and possibly learning a little thing about himself as well, especially when he starts getting rather close to Optimus.

Don’t think I would have time to write this, but, eh— we’ll see. One day. Also, I keep imagining Nemesis sounding like BW Megs cause its David Kaye, and you cant go wrong with that— sassy, suave, chaotic, and definitely not gonna take ANYONE’S shit.

ML Concept - Split Personalities AU

The Superheroes Ladybug and Chat Noir are split personalities forged into the minds of Marinette and Adrien due to their exposure to The Ladybug and Cat Miraculous. Depending on the Miraculous, the User is affected differently.

In Marinette’s case, she develops a personality that is more confident and headstrong. There are some drawbacks towards this persona, such as overconfidence to the point of believing their views are usually the correct ones. This may be due to the fact that Ladybug is the one always coming up with the ideas and solutions to the issues at hand so it’s not completely a fault per say, however it does create a gradual burden on this Hero.

As for Adrien, his persona is a complete opposite of himself. While Adrien is introverted, ignorant, and always trying to fit the “model” he think everyone wants him to be; Chat Noir is Wild, Eccentric, Outbursting, and Playful. Much to the chagrin of Ladybug, Chat Noir is a Joker of sorts, however; when things get serious, Ladybug knows that he’s the only one she can count on to have her back. There are times that his playfulness helps ease the ever so tense Ladybug who at times needs the moment to calm herself from the evervurdens of Being a Hero.

As for the two students themselves, they are both aware that they hold these different personas and it seems they only emerge when they transform into their Hero counterparts. As for their forms, Adrien appears to get a more toned physique as well as a change in eye color from Blue to Green and his Hair color from Blonde to Black. As for Marinette, her Blueish Hair turns Jet Black with some Red Streaks and her Eye Color almost resembles a Pinkish Crimson. She also becomes far more athletic and is far less prone to trips or falls that her True Persona would normally fall to.

As time goes on and with each transformation, it seems there are times where both develop certain quirks that their other personas possess leaving into question whether or not they are slowly becoming their Hero Personas or if the Two Minds are becoming One.

The Relationship is actually a little different from The Canon:

Marinette is in Love with Adrien but has some growing feelings for Chat Noir after being saved by him once. There was a moment where he didn’t act like his usual self....almost more gentle and soft and it was that part that made her start to look at him in a different way. To her, she feels that behind the Puns and Charm there’s a more soft and lonely side to Chat. Part of her can’t help but feel something for him.

Adrien has his Super Hero Crush on Ladybug and is very good friends with Marinette. Saying he has no interest in Marinette would be a lie since she was the first female friend he ever had (not by connections like Chloe, but a genuine friend) and he is in constant fear of damaging that friendship. In his own thoughts, her kindness has saved him from a world of solitude and is eternally grateful to her for it. Due to his introverted ways created by his father, he doesn’t know much difference between Love and Friendship and is Ignorant towards his True Feelings for the time being.

Chat Noir and Ladybug have a Business Partner Type relationship where it’s business when it comes with Akuma Battles, however; when it comes to Chat Noir, he will always find a way to throw in some Chaos and Romance into the mix. Chat Noir is a hopeless Romantic when it comes to Ladybug as she is the only person who he can call a friend since Chat Noir Only is on Friendship Levels with her being a Persona forged of the Miraculous. Ladybug doesn’t share the same type of Love for him, however; she does care for the Black Cat and his well-being. To her, there’s no one else she’d rather work with. Chat feels the same way.

Unfortunately for Chat, she actually does have a crush on him....just not the right one. After seeing a Buildboard Ad of the Young Model, she became instantly enchanted by the young Agreste. There have been times where the two have encountered each other and his calm and soft demeanor helped steal her heart even more so. Ladybug doesn’t act on it though simply because she doesn’t wish to put him in harms way. To her, it’s better to love from afar.

As time goes on, all four sides of them will potentially get closer as the Red String of Fate pulls them ever so closer to each other.

Split personality AU (because of that anon who gave the information about DID that I didn't know about, thank you for that): I intended for the kidnapping to have happened when Hajime was around primary school age, since child brains are more flexible and better to do mind altering experiments with, which would also be a good time frame for Izuru to develop, since as the anon said, DID usually develops from childhood trauma

That is a good addition based on what the anon had said. So making the kidnapping and experiments happen during his young childhood comes a bit closer to who it would work

(But again, I personally have no idea how DID works, so again please don’t take me by my word)

Split Personality - Knife or Pen?

Overused but...

A writer suffers from split personality disorder. 

He prowls through the streets at night as a highly skilled criminal and writes about his exploits/crimes during the day, without knowing what he did during the night.

Is constantly tired and thinks he has sleeping problems, consults a doctor about his troubles falling asleep, doctor prescribes him sleeping pills to help.

His books sell really well, police start getting suspicious since the times he publishes books are always not far apart from the times the unknown criminal strikes again during the night.

A police officer starts getting curious and reads one of his bestselling crime books, realizes they contain detailed information about the crimes without police ever leaking it to the public, starts to question him...etc.

Game of cat and mouse starts where killer side of writer tries eliminating all threats during the night and police try tracking him down but always get dead ends. When they accuse the writer of being the criminal, the doctor argues, saying how he gets sleeping pills to sleep throughout the whole night and how he suffers from anxiety so he can’t be the criminal bc he doesn’t have the balls to do any of it.

ok, think about it. Split personality Shouto can be plausible. Because shouto hated endeavor so much that he suppressed his fire quirk, but with it, he also suppressed his other "personality" the left side of him. So his spilt personality remained hidden until his fight with izuku, which brought down the wall shouto subconsciously put up to keep his other personality hidden. But after his fight with izuku, he was able to freely let out the other side of him and was able to accept that side (after a lot of support and deciding to keep his split personality, though I don't really know if it works like that or not.) Although shouto's "icy side" is gentle, calm and quiet etc., his "hot side" is the opposite but isn't like bakugou who is brash and violent. (Both sides of shouto still hate and resent Endeavor and won't be violent without a good reason *cough*bakugou*cough*). Shotsui Shatsui SHoto Shouto's hot side also isn't afraid to directly speak up to endeavor and roast him, LOUDLY IN PUBLIC, he doesn't regret it. But todoroKōri Shouto's Icy side does regret it a little bit because of the really hard beatings, but he'd always wanted to do it tho but he didn't have the courage to do so. Hot side or Atsui flirts a lot with their crush (aka Izuku), while the icy side or shouto he prefers that name rather than Kōri kori (ice stone) Hyōga (glacier) Yuki(snow he thinks it's too feminine, though it's okay if izuku says it) prefers to flirt through gentle caresses and gifts (courting). They both are ok with their birth names tho.
