Ian Proulx, the CEO of the studio behind Splitgate 2, wore a hat with the words ‘Make FPS Great Again’ at Summer Games Fest.

Something a bit funny about wearing a hat like that while announcing a Battle Royale mode - a boring mode injected into nearly every FPS these days.

I enjoyed the first Splitgate, it genuinely seemed like a creative game. It somehow raised over 100 million in funding for a sequel - which hasn’t even performed well.

The mixed reviews here are before he wore the hat during the presentation.

Cherry on top, and likely driven by their loser CEO, they simp for Elon Musk on twitter.

I wanna know the lore behind the split gate 2 classes. why do 2+ of the maps have aeros name on it? did the sponsor the maps? meridian being healer types.
