The background has been colored a pale forest green, and has vines gathered around the top and bottom of the frame.

The second gif is a close up of Spock, with a deeper forest green background, from the episode "Journey to Babel" with another vine frame; he is considering something, then nods in agreement. The third gif is also from "Journey to Babel", and features the same forest green coloring/the vine frame; Spock is nodding in affirmation to somebody off screen, giving them permission.
