While he might have been able to sneak up on Aerith, it felt... mean to do so - and so, Ravus made a point not to walk too quietly when he approached her. Gently, arms slid around her waist from behind and he leaned against her, head dipping to press a kiss to the top of her hair. "Good afternoon, ma fleur," he murmured.
"Forgive me for interrupting, but we do have plans for dinner." That said, they still had plenty of time before they would need to leave, so there was no hurry. ... which was why, after a few more moments, he shifted so he could kiss Aerith's cheek. ... then her jaw. ... then down along her neck, humming. "We could afford to arrive late though, if you wish ~"
It had been instinct to turn towards Ravus when those approaching footsteps drew near, though Aerith was too slow. Already his strong arms captured around her waist and a chime of laughter rang from her chest. To say that it was a great comfort to have her pillar of support pressed to her back in an affectionate lean was an understatement.
"Dinner? Already?" she clarified, looking around the glasshouse as though she kept a clock there. She didn't. Though the sun hadn't yet crested on the horizon and the sky wasn't yet close to dimming. Her lips pulled into a confused little smile as she angled her head around as if to look him over. What was he up to...?
Though she didn't have to wait long for her answer. Another laugh, this one lower as Ravus peppered her skin with honeyed kisses. Oh to be in love. "We could afford it, huh?" she asked, the corners of her eyes creasing with her smile as she turned in his embrace to finally face him.
Her nose wrinkled as she bumped it to his, nuzzling affectionately. "Don't tell me... you arranged for Angeal to mind the children early, and cautioned perhaps we would be a little late~?" Ah, but it was crystal clear now. The quiet of the house. Ravus suddenly approaching her like this. Hope and Aurora were being minded and they had the house completely to themselves. "Oh, I wish."
