You know what kills me about the ending to Amphibia?

Sprig and Anne are never going to know if each other is okay. Anne isn't going to be there to have Sprig's back while exploring. Sprig won't be there to cheer Anne up when she's down.

They have to keep going on in life know the other is out there somewhere, and just hoping they are okay because that's all they can do now.

This, added with the fact that Anne will never see Polly all grownup is just 💔
