guys, fall is so fucking cool. oh my gosh. water??? falls out of the sky??!!?!??? the leaves like,, change! color!!!!! and get crunchy!!!!!!!! and the air isn’t too cold but it bites your nose in just the right way and????!!!!!!!!!!! i really love fall

Ready for Spring

thinking now with a quiet heart how I love.

Oh yes I am a loving person and it is a tree in me that grows up from my roots deep down far below my consciousness.

and roots seek out sustenance the rich earth and moisture and the glad sun.

and my roots cannibalize themselves to offer up love to be Love to have at least the imitation, the packaged, the frozen, ersatz love to sustain me while I feed the others.

my roots do not seem to garner the real thing despite creating it generously in bushy leaves and abundance of twigs and shoots and layers and layers of solid bark and a hardwood core beautiful and silent and supporting all else.

Trees are good at waiting and I have waited since I first sprouted above the soil and saw the distant sun.

I am ready to receive at this late date and my fruit will be yours.
