Pretty sure the reason Henry insisted to Edwin on changing the springlock characters to the FNAF1 proper ones is because William got into a springlock accident with Spring Bonnie and Henry was like, "Oh shit, we're not risking this again!" and told Edwin at the last minute to change everything without explaining why.

I just wonder why Henry didn't bother telling Edwin about William's accident if that's the case. Did the entire company keep hush-hush about William's springlock accident? Why keep it a secret from Edwin, though?

I wanna talk about some new ideas I have for my Spring Chica AU, so here we go:

So, to review, the Spring Chica AU follows Francine Cantor, a former creative consultant, artist and lyricist for Fredbear's Family Diner. She gets close to William Afton, only to discover he's a murderer. He kills her inside a springlock Chica suit, the only one in existence, and Francine comes to haunt the suit and is hellbent on killing William. Got all that?

Okay, so... apparently The Secret of the Mimic actually takes place inside some sort of warehouse where animatronics, rides, and other attractions from Fall Fest are being stored. We don't know anything about this warehouse yet, but it could potentially be the perfect place for William Afton to store a spare springlock suit... especially one with a dead body in it. Imagine William storing Spring Chica here, only to come back later to harvest her remnant and get attacked by her.

Originally, I had two possible endings in mind for William facing off against Spring Chica, but now there are three:

The first ending, the canon ending, is William escaping the warehouse without obtaining Spring Chica's remnant. He travels to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza later that night to destroy the animatronics, and winds up dead inside a Spring Bonnie suit, becoming Springtrap. Spring Chica remains trapped in the warehouse. The canon timeline proceeds as normal. (TRUE ENDING)

The second ending involves Spring Chica successfully killing William... then stuffing his body inside a spare Spring Bonnie suit. William becomes Springtrap, but now he's stuck with Spring Chica, who is completely obsessed with him, inside the warehouse for the foreseeable future. The timeline is altered... (SPRING CHICA ENDING)

The third ending involves William successfully destroying Spring Chica and harvesting her remnant, as intended. He then uses that remnant to build a new animatronic: Siren Chica, a version of Chica the Chicken whose singing voice emits mind-altering frequencies that can hypnotize the listener. And yes, William does use her for nefarious purposes. He also does NOT become Springtrap. The timeline is altered for the worse... (BAD ENDING)

Fredbear, and Spring Bonnie...

Or as i call him, "Bonnie Rabbit" because why would a children's entertainment character meant to come off as "alive" be denoted by it's mechanism that the kids wouldn't care about, especially if normal Bonnie had yet to be created yet. It just makes more sense to give him an actual name... Plus it works better with "Fredbear" and i think it's an amazing pun!
