#SpuddyBuddy, you're the one! You make hamsters so much fun! Spuddy Buddy, I'm awfully fond of you! It's no surprise we've had a pretty wretched summer this year. I'll admit, I was pretty close to throwing in the towel several times! Between all the vet visits, and then everything else, I was burning the candle at both ends. But... Then I see hammies like #Spudnik and I remember why I do this. I see the faces on the kids adopting my hamsters, and I remember why I do it. I see our OHC volunteers, gabbing and making fast friendships, and I remember why I do it. I see you guys, posting your hamsters and sharing amazing care, and I remember why I do it. SBH is a labour of love, and sometimes life makes it hard to enjoy the things we love. Yesterday I sat with Wells and had the most wonderful time with him too. I had forgotten how much I loved just being with them, with how busy life gets. So, today, can you please tell me something that reminds you, that inspire you, to keep doing something you love?
