oh my god I think this one took me like. 10 hours in total? I wish the lighting was better but this just further encourages me to actually scenebuild my stuff! PolyMercs OTP questions: 13, 17, 18, 27, 33, 36

13. How Would the Polycule Do in an Escape Room? What Kind of Room Would They Choose and Would They Get Out?

I feel like they would participate in either a Detective Noir/Spy Film Themed Escape Room or a Mad Scientist Escape Room and they would all have a blast doing it (even if Spy makes it look like he doesn't himself, he enjoys it too)

Though, it would be Spy, Medic, Engi, Sniper, Heavy would be the ones doing a lot of the puzzle solving in the escape room while Soldier, Demo, and Pyro are running around the room looking for stuff that the others ask them to find and just mucking around in general, Heavy would have to keep them focused on the task at hand!

17. What Do They Do That Make Their Partner Think, "Damn, That's Hot." (Could be an Innocent Gesture)?

Since my PolyMercs Ships involves 8 people and doing this question for all of them would take FOREVER, so for now I randomly picked out Spy x Demoman for this question!

Spy (for Demo): His Laugh, His Smile when he's throwing around his Sticky Bombs, his Body Hair (esp when Demo occasionally has his shirt off and his chest hair is showing), and his eye (at least the one that's not covered with an eye patch)

Demo (for Spy): the Smells of Whatever Fancy Cologne Spy is Wearing that Day, his Cunning Nature, his Ties (especially if he's just wearing a dress shirt and a tie), his legs, and his taste in alcoholic beverages

18. Do They Have a Dirty Secret They Hide from One Another? What is It and Why Do They Hide It?

For Medic, Spy, Soldier, and Pyro, their secrets are their pasts and what they all did before being hired by Mann Co and meeting each other

Spy hides his past because of his occupation and because he feels that he's had so many different identities and names over the years that he feels very detached from his past as well

For Medic, Pyro, and Soldier, they all just don't like to think of their pasts since they've all been through heavy duty stuff they would much rather leave behind in the past and not talk about them much, if at all

Sniper's Secret for a while was, well, that he was in a Polycule with seven other men and after a couple of years, he just had to concede once he introduced the Mercs to his parents while they were visiting them at the base for a Visitor's Week

After that Sniper hasn't really had secrets to keep from anyone since

Demo's Secret he keeps is that he has terrible PTSD induced nightmares that tend to keep him up a LOT of the time and it tend to make him drink more

Everyone knows that he has really bad nightmares, but the only ones who truly know the full extent of them are Medic, Spy, and Solly!

27. What Made You Start Shipping Them?

I mainly started shipping PolyMercs due to the Expiration Date Short (especially how now I see Spy as a more secretly caring guy than even he makes himself out to be) and due to creating the Red Aster AU as a whole!

33. Imagine This OTP on a Couple Date with Another OTP of Yours. How Does It Go?

I imagine that their very first Couple/Double Date was with Zhanna and Maggie when they had their First Anniversary of Dating Each Other and the Mercs (most especially Heavy) wanted to celebrate and show their support by making it a Double Date at a very nice restaurant that Spy was able to make amazing reservations for

It went about as chaotically and as entertaining as going ANYwhere with the Mercs would be, Zhanna and Maggie still had a lot of fun and got much closer afterwards!

36. Do They Have a Couple Bucket List?

Yep, they sure as hell do!

Spy never gave up on his Bucket List Bucket idea from Expiration Date and when the Mercs were officially a Polycule, Spy brought the idea up again and it now has the actual wishes and desires from each respective Mercs

Spy likes to look through the bucket to see if he's able to make these wishes come true himself, but otherwise it's there to act as the Mercs' Makeshift Wishing Well!
