Squidlit 64 update!
Sorry it’s been a while. I had a collision bug that made it hard to get good footage. It’s all better now though!
I have several things to show, and first on the agenda is the addition of a personal favorite Squidlit enemy, wallop polyps!
There’s also updated attack swings, and the water isn’t purple anymore. Woo!
I love Squidlit so I quickly made a Plip Christmas tree decoration. One side is purple, and the other side is grellow. Half of the decorations on my tree are homemade. It's a fun activity.

Squidlit Fanart!! || 2021-06-19
This is from my next project, a Vignette Diorama, a scene from the adoreable indie game Squidlit! I adore the game, and the creators are friends of mine. As soon as I’m done, there will be a video about how I made it! Lemme know what you think!
Squidlit - Blast Review
Developer: Alex Barrett, Samantha Davenport Rrp: £2.09 (Steam)
When people say 'retro inspired' it usually means its 8 or 16 bit and generally a side-scrolling platform game. What they don't expect is for a game that is so retro inspired that they have even taken the green screen aesthetic of the original Nintendo Gameboy.
They really committed to the retro idea, even the controls are old fashioned. You can only control using the D-pad on your control pad and the [A] button. That's it. As far as the game itself goes, well.. its alright. Beyond its aesthetic the game really doesn't stand out all that much.
I honestly don't have much to say about this game (in case it wasn't clear) it's not a bad game, but nor is it good. It simply is. If you fancy a quick go yourself you could certain do better and worse.
