I maaay have found a new Mecha rpg system (The Mecha Hack, for those interested) and I maaay have been falling super hard for it and printing a ton of 6mm scale mechs and vehicles for it.

Somehow I keep forgetting how much I love 6mm scale. It can be detailed as all hell, but it's so small there's no pressure to make sure you get adsolutely everything right. You only do as much as you are comfortable with amd it always feels like a flex. :)

Finally done with my bachelor thesis, wich means finally have time to do some crafts again

One project done. Another dice tray with a detachable tower.

Having to do some measurements before it's on my Etsy.

Have more photos to edit for another tower+tray combo and some trays.

A desert/canyon-themed tray and tower. Mostly light, when the tower isn't attached. Could set it on a shelf and use it as decoration!

The tower is detachable via Velcro. Velcro is to give the dice tower added stability. Sometimes dice may jump past the barrier depending on how they come out of the tower.

The approximate size of the dice tower is: Length - 5.5 inch/13.97 cm Width - 7.5 in/19.05 cm Height - 10 inches/25.4 cm

The approximate size of the tray is: Length - 12 inch/30.48 cm Width - 11.25 in/28.575 cm Height - 3.75 inches/9.525 cm Height with tower - 13.75 inches/34.925 cm

This is my Box of DOOM (2016) It’s based off of the box of doom dice box from Dimension 20 as well as the DOOM 2016 videogame.

The Mining Base (large orbital object) for Dropfleet Commander! As I said, I doubt I’m going to be wargaming anytime soon, but it can be a shelf piece or a donation to a local group- Maybe I’ll even sell it. Selling my work would be an odd feeling.. Maybe a good one?

Anyway, it needs some struts, and then it’s prettymuch finished. Not doing any lighting, since DFC has all sorts of situations where the lighting might come from anywhere, and the little antenna lights are too small for any Object Source Lighting shenanigans.

The parts used were:

Polystyrene balls (varying sizes)

Papier Mache

Cocktail Sticks (to hold internals together while the glue set, and reinforce VVV)

Squared Dowelling Rods

Garden Wire

Parts from the Dropfleet Commander Space Station kit.

I can tutorialize this if there’s interest, but I’m very happy with how it turned out.
