what question required you to lick a rock

OMFG OKAY i know you sent this forever ago but i never saw it until now and idek if you remember what it was in reference to becasue i dont really but boy let me tell you okay okay

so like on the earth science regents there's this part of the lab practicum where you get a rock and you have to use a chart and identify it using its different characteristics??? like hardness and streak color and stuff?

and one of my rocks was halite. which is rock salt. but theres this other rock on the chart that looks almost exactly like halite and the only way to tell the difference was like through some weird crystal structure stuff i DID NOT have time for

but i knew that halite tastes like salt. and i knew the only way to be 100% confident in my answer was to taste that gosh darn rock

long story short i low-key licked a disgusting rock in order to get a hundred

i have so many regrets
