I’ve ranted and raved about how the Ahsoka show got Sabine wrong.
But what’s just as bad is how the Ahsoka show did Ezra dirty.
(I’ve generally overlooked it because a) Eman was such a perfect, 1:1 casting; and b) there’s so little of Ezra in that story that it wasn’t as noticeable. But that - too little Ezra - is part of the problem.)
#ahsoka show critical#I am happy that he was found#but that wasn’t everything#it wasn’t the only thing#it was so rushed#there is legitimately an entire story that should be told about his time in exile#and it got written off as hiding out with the crab people#he was too scared to go back and face Thrawn without the ladies#and he was totally overrun by the women on a planet he’d lived on for a decade#and he was made the butt of every joke#and he built a second lightsaber for just the Kanan feels and because lightsabers are cool to see in action#and easier to make happen than force tricks on the screen#sighs#angry noises#ezra bridger#i know i know#this was not rebels s5#but it wasn’t even a good compromise#it truly was just for Ahsoka#and the rebels characters got burned
