Masquerade Ball (Squire Au)

A ball was taking place at the schnee mansion but the participants would have to be wearing some kind of animal mask and weiss and pyrrha were wearing their dresses looking at a large statue of a knight and weiss was wearing the mask of a snow fox and pyrrha of a normal fox.

Random: Hey little foxes won't you stop staring at that boring statue and go dance a lit--

The masked boy was going to finish his voice but he could feel a frightening aura coming from pyrrha but he didn't know that whoever was wearing the fox mask was pyrrha nikos and he just walked away.

Weiss: Hey pyrrha do you think he's coming to prom? It seems that the mission he is doing is very complicated by the delay, I hope he is well..

Pyrrha would notice the tone of concern that came out of her girlfriend's voice and would place her hand on her shoulder and speak in a comforting tone of voice.

Pyrrha: Weiss doesn't worry jaune had a good training his grandfather and with me he is a good warrior and he promised me that he was going to come to this party to dance with me and with you hehe.

Weiss calmed down with pyrrha's tone of voice and with what she had said because it reminds her of something that jaune always says ''an arc never returns on its promise''. Until the two look at the ball to see a figure who was wearing a white suit with a pocket watch and wearing a rabbit mask approaching the two.

Jaune: I'm sorry for bothering you ladies, but is this where I find two beautiful princesses? One has red hair that reminds me of autumn leaves and the other has hair and soft skin that feels like snow.

The two blushed under the mask listening to their boyfriend's praise and the two pulled him into a hug and he returned the hug caressing their hair.

Jaune: Sorry for the delay there was more grimm than I thought but at least I'm here to keep my promise I made to my two beautiful wives.

Weiss: Hm ok I forgive you mister rabbit but after this party you'll have to take care of two lively foxes hehe~

The three laughed a little until a slow song started to play and he noticed and would pull the two to the floor and the 3 would be dancing together enjoying that night.

jaune squire au: For how Mercury knows Penny pre-Beacon. Is Mercury's father trying to assassinate Pietro Polendina and brings Mercury along as a distraction so as to get close to his target. Unfortanly for him, Nicholas Schnee was there at the time and wrecked his shit.

Ooh, good idea… semi-long response here. I’ve been brainstorming all of this lol

And after this, Nicholas gets Marcus locked up and he takes Mercury in. This is in hopes of undoing whatever brainwashing Marcus has done to him.

At first he’s just an angry teenage boy and maybe when Nicholas treats with respect instead of a tool, he latches onto that and hates Jaune at first because he’s unknowingly scared of being discarded because he thinks Nicholas favors Jaune.

And then he sees how clearly Jaune and Weiss like eachother, so he sees it as just another way Jaune seems to be favored. So it’s less a true love triangle (at first) and more just Mercury trying to ‘steal’ Weiss from Jaune.

He outgrows this, of course, after Penny is built and he meets her. He gets close to her and he finally seems to have someone that understands somewhat of being treated as ‘just a tool/weapon’. At this point, he starts to develop feelings for Penny but rejects it at first because “she’s not human” but not realizing that’s exactly what he hates being seen as.

And to wrap it up, basically, Weiss is uncomfortable by Mercury until he spills to her (and Jaune) that he thinks he likes Penny, expecting them to laugh at him being in love with an Android. And is shocked when the two are genuinely supportive.

Or! Mercury meets Penny and all that but they’re only friends and Mercury begins to genuinely like Weiss. When he meets Emerald at Beacon (who also was not recruited by Cinder and instead grew up as an orphan alongside Sun and Blake), they relate to eachother being in love with people that don’t reciprocate (Sun in Emerald’s case) and develop feelings once they move on and find other points to relate to eachother on. Shared interests and such.

Aaand I’m sorry for such a long answer but I saw this and the ideas just came spilling out when I got this ask.

Squire au Shorts 3: Grandpa no!

The arc family and schnee were having a light family gathering having a barbecue in the backyard of the mansion and weiss would be sitting with her grandfather and younger brother whitley until she notices jaune that he would only be wearing a bathing suit and would be taking some drinks for the people who were at the party and weiss seeing him would be completely red in the face.

Whitley: Grandpa why is sister looking like a tomato?

Nicholas: Well whitley is beacause your big sister is love with someone hehe.

Weiss heard that from her grandfather and would look at him a little irritated and blushing but he would let out a laugh and jaune heard the laughter and approached anyway which left weiss but blushing because she could see the boy's physique as more definition and she would try hide her face.

Nicholas: Hey jaune did you know that weiss think you are cute in this bathing suit?

Weiss: G-Grandpa!

Jaune: Well I thank her she chose it for me hehe.

Jaune was about to leave but before that she would kiss Weiss on the forehead and her face would be completely red and hot and Whitley and Nicholas would laugh a little about the situation.
