Wait a minute. Brennan said that Daisy recognised the crumbs on squire badger's suit from dinner. But Constance said that her father barely touched his food. The whole reason Mrs Molesey was in the study when the murder happened was to try get him to eat.

And on top of that, Brennan said Daisy couldn't shake the hunch of the body not being his. Essentially telling Rekha "keep that in mind because you're not a million miles off"
