born in a far off land (called New York City) claude and his family moved to seattle ridge when he was just one year old. seeing as he was too young to remember anything when they moved, he never exactly knew any other home than here.
always a bundle of energy, christmas lights in his eyes, and a positive outlook life so far has been kind to claude, in the grander scheme. of course there were hurdles to work past, but he always had help, and encouragement from his parents.
as a child, he had many hobbies, though dance was a constant the genre tended to change every few months - until ballet. for a long while ballet meant everything to claude. even today, he still practices the stances. he could dance if he wanted to, although probably not at a professional level.
some time in middle school, claude realized he didn’t feel like a girl at all. it took a while, but eventually he came out to his parents, who helped him with his transition. at first it was just a wardrobe change and a haircut, but he now also has a body that makes him smile when he looks in the mirror.
got into university on a sholarship for performing arts. he’s hard a particularly hard time picking a major though, as he’s interested in pretty much all aspects. so he’s a general performing arts major, with no idea what he’s going to use it for once he’s done.
currently living in the apartments, sharing the place with a roommate (open connection woooh). it’s scary living on his own, away from parents. but hey, it’s not like he can’t visit them on the weekends! or whenever, really. yes, dad does his laundry.
is naive and full of wonder, with a heart big enough to love everyone, including all animals. he wants a dog some day, or a cat, or maybe a hamster... but he’s a bit too scatterbrained to remember to care for it, so he’s holding off.
has horrible taste! just, in general. likes the worst movies and his spotify is probably filled with all the songs everybody hates. mixing patterns? he’s your guy. please help him. he’s a mess.

a boring, hot, and pretentious city she’ll never go back to, mark her words
she comes from a family of two, her and her mom and that’s it
her mom can’t tell her who her dad is because well, she can’t remember which of her bfs knocked her tf up with eunji !!
her upbringing was something else, her mom not being the best in regards to raising her properly but eunji will be damned before she lets anyone talk badly about her
her mom owns a hair/nail salon which is good business but deffo not always how the bills were paid, her mom having uh other means of getting by through her bfs/men she talks to
so there were definitely times when eunji would come crawling out of her room for breakfast to see some guy sitting on her couch to which she would have a stare off with before crawling back to bed, deciding she wasn’t hungry anymore
school was a whole other thing, eunji didn’t really have many friends for a variety of reasons that people were quick to judge her ( which, she doesn’t blame them, eunji judges everyone else ) making her out to be a bitch due to her resting bitch face or that she thought she was better than everyone else
when really, eunji just stayed in her lane and if thats what they thought of her then it just be like that, she has no reason to stress about opinions from people she doesn’t talk to
at one point during her highschool career she moved out from her moms, it was her sophomore year and her and her mom got into the biggest fight regarding one of her many bfs and well, her mom took the boyfriend’s side instead of her daughter’s.....so eunji packed up and moved in with her cousin up in l.a halfway through her sophomore year and she finished hs there whilst working retail jobs here and there to help her cousin with rent/bills
in hs she took dance classes, both in and out of school and the only reason she could afford out of school was because her cousin was given free classes due to her job that she passed on to eunji instead because she had no time what with bar tending and then working shifts at denny’s trying to make ends meet, she thought her little cousin should live a little, like a TEENAGER and enjoy things
those dance classes became everything to eunji, and within them she met someone who also took pole dancing and told eunji all about it ( this is necessary for later on ) all she needed was a parent or guardian signature to let her in, and those were classes she paid for herself with the money she saved up that didnt go to necessities or bills
anyways, l.a was a whole new world to her. it was dirty, it was packed, the traffic was shit and the streets smelled gross and yet she loves it, she loves it more than she could ever love palm springs because no one cares there, and theres more culture and she can easily get lost and find her way back again
so shes been grinding from a young age, trying to make it on her own and become independent
𝐢𝐢. 𝐂𝐔𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐋𝐘 :
when eunji graduated she had applied to berkley, ucla and one out of state university ( ahem, here in seattle ridge ) and whereas she was accepted to all three, the moment she saw the acceptance for seattle she was quick to pack up and LEAVE
her first year was spent in a dorm before she finally moved out -- but during that year she was working 2 jobs, one at the dinner and then one at a gas station and it was TERRIBLE for her health
so, the second semester after having saved enough for an apartment, she auditioned for DD’s dancers and got a callback and finally got a job there which, due to her talent she manages to make MORE than she did working both jobs which is great because she has school and bills to pay for and all her things and her SAVINGS
up at 6am for a 7am class which she gets out at 2pm and then homework and then a shift at work and then its just rinse and repeat from there
she has aspirations of becoming a producer, maybe throw in some vocals but the vocals part is just a fantasy so she’d rather stick to making beats that reflect her personal style
it had started out as a hobby, something a guy once taught her in hs and HE SUCKED but she ( being the fast learner she is ) got the hang of it QUICK and fell in love with it

belle is the daughter of two italian immigrants and the oldest of two children. although her parents were able to afford a nice home in a decent neighborhood, they both worked full-time so she was often left to care for her younger sibling. despite the difficulties that they faced, she was always happy to help out around the house and take care of her sibling because it provided a sense of relief to her parents ( whom she admired greatly ).
in high school she did everything she possibly could to ensure that she would be able to attend a university without burying her family in debt ( i.e., she maintained a perfect gpa, did cheerleading, and was a member in many of her school’s clubs, etc. ). luckily, her hard work paid off and she was able to secure several scholarships and grants. now, after having graduated college with a b.a. in english and gender studies, she is pursuing an m.a. in education. she has yet to decide if she wants to teach children or pursue a phd and become a professor, but she has another year to contemplate her future before she graduates.
currently, she is a full-time student and a part-time tutor at the university. she lives in an apartment near the campus and is most often seen huddled over her laptop in a coffee shop or a park somewhere working on one of her assignments. she isn’t the wildest person out there, but she loves to go out with her friends and let loose as long as her school work is complete. for her, school has always been a top priority because she could never afford to lose any of her scholarships or grants. she wants to make her parents proud and take advantage of the opportunities they have provided for her by coming to the united states.

wHICH brings me to my next point: her sexuality. mel is a lesbian and while she’s not exactly closeted, she does her best to keep her personal life separate from her family life. the prospect of bringing home a woman to a family reunion just makes her cRINGE bc she was raised around so much negativity. but, generally speaking, she’s pretty much out and proud in seattle. being away from her relatives allows her to express herself more freely.
as for her personality, she’s an introvert who loves coffee and cuddles altho she probably wouldn’t admit to the latter upon first meeting someone. her goal in life has always been to be financially stable and so far she’s done a good job of saving up for future needs ( a house, marriage, kids, etc. ). she could never really afford to go to college, so she lacks a formal education but that doesn’t mean she’s not bright. she’s super analytical and applies that to nearly everything she does.

She started cheering in middle school, and it followed her to high school. Being captain for her last two years of high school, junior homecoming princess, and senior prom queen. She had it all, great friends an amazing boyfriend who had been with her since middle school. Everything took a turn when she turned eighteen. Her loving boyfriend started to change and become controlling and abusive. She got pregnant at nineteen, and went to stay with her grandparents in Utah, knowing if she stayed he would have killed her and the baby both. After having her baby boy, she went back home, left Jessie in the care of her parents after they all agreed it would be best. Deanna hung out for a year, until she realized all her friends had turned their backs on her. People had egged her house, keyed her car, slashed her tires. It become so unbearable, when the death threats started. She later found out it was her ex who was in charge of it, and had promised he wasn’t going to stop until she was dead. She changed her named and moved to Seattle as an incoming freshman. Deanna is now ready to take on Seattle and see what it has to offer.
After everything she had gone through it changed her. She’s now likes to go out and have fun. Partying and making new friends. Not being able to enjoy her senior year of high school, she was making up for it all now. Seattle is her new play ground.

when she was 13, she suffered her first panic attack and used to get them a lot more frequently, now she’s able to control it a lot more

jessie has no issue getting out of her comfort zone, moving from tampa to a town like seattle ridges was not easy but she’s managed to make the best of it
she got into a local university, and was able to earn herself a few internships in the film department at her school, trying her hardest to become a director/screenplay writer in the industry
jessie’s never been a big fan of getting her hopes up, so she tries to get by day to day with minimal expectations and loose layouts in pure sagittarius fashion
she’s trying her hardest to use this as a stepping stone to move out to los angeles
was able to get a job as a waitress when she first moved and has stayed at the same restaurant ever since because they treat her well
has tendencies to get bored very easily so is always looking for the best way to spice things up around seattle ridges
