I honestly can’t believe that I have over 500 followers!! Thank you to everyone who has read, favorited, re-blogged, and commented! These notifications truly make my day. 

Almost all of the phrases and words I introduce on this blog are advanced Japanese, and I was worried that most learners would think these low-frequency/niche terms weren’t useful. 

But then I saw that many other Japanese study blogs had posts about common vocab words, and I thought to myself, “I want to introduce people to words they aren’t going to find in the textbooks, words that they have never seen before.”

It’s true that you aren’t likely to hear many of these words in an everyday conversation. But if you really are serious about reading or even working in a Japanese setting, each and every vocab word, even the obscure ones, help you to build a fuller picture of Japanese.

How to get past 12 p.m. without collapsing into an inescapable mire of self-loathing and despair-- whatever I do turns into nothing. I feel I'm putting maximum (?) effort into things well at least I'm trying to work and move forward on all my goals every day but . Maybe I'm not doing it right, not doing the right steps. Or maybe they're they're wrong goals (I have to "manage mt expectations" bc of my obvious limits) Or what I suspect-- I am incapable of being anything significant at all, or even being relatively mediocre-- incapable of coping with thr real world for more than a couple hours at a time without falling apart-- bc thats exactly what happens.

I probably shouldn't say this on Tumblr or ask bc no one knows and most don't care. . Pathetic people deserve where they are if they can't pull themselves out of it.
