To catch a falling star is not mine, it's a translation, maybe I should make it a bit clearer in my summary...

I just answered 2 for A Firm Hand

I'M SURPRISED TO GET A FIC ABOUT ALWAYS THE CHILD. Cause... I have more notes on that AU and just felt like the White part needed to be written... but it never felt like a complete fic! Anyway... It was not a hard fic to write cause... I wrote it with the intention of "I have voices in my head and I need to get it out" while never intending to truly complete it asfs;lafkj;asdf... I think the only challenge was like... I wanted to portray White's change in as little words as possible... Really I just rushed through that fic cause I felt like that whole AU was too much to tackle...

Sex therapy 9: Were there any alternate versions of this fic? No. That came out from beginning to end under 48 hours. I just sat down and wrote and keep writing. I don't even think I changed much during editing. I think I kinda, like, discuss the flow of the fic with Kaz and Isa on discord before I started writing and then just dived right in.

1. How did you get into Black Clover?

Crunchyroll kept playing the advertisements with Asta and Mars from the Witches Forest arc and one of them had some tag like “Asta’s still Asta” and showed him laughing like a loon. After seeing this for a few months I was like hmmmm hmmmmmmmm hmmmmmmmm and watched it and fell in love with Asta in like 5 seconds like I suspected I would. 

3. Favorite and least favorite character

My favorite character is Asta. He’s so loud, determined, and I really like how he has his own basic political philosophy. It adds weight to his desire to be a leader which isn’t always there for other protagonists in similar situations. 

I’m not sure if I have a least favorite character. I feel like there are several I just straight up forget exist until they show up again because they left no impression on me

12. Which magic would you like to have?

I’m not sure which I would like to have. I think it’d be useful to have a water vapor magic where you could like condense the existing water vapor down into clouds, create rain, fog, etc...They’d probably call it Cloud Magic even though it’d be water vapor manipulation. You could probably even like remove or add to the water molecules in people’s bodies as an attack too.

My non-romantic OTP for this character - Kurita and Musashi

My unpopular opinion about this character - I’m not sure. He seems fairly well liked in the fandom and since it’s a 2000′s fandom he’s kind of untouched by this whole problematic fave dramaz stuff. 

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon. - I kind of wish we got to see his family situation fleshed out more, though it makes sense that it plays out as it does since he’s already at a point with his dad that he’s going through cellphone after cellphone to keep completely out of contact.

How I feel about this character - I love him. He was an enjoyable main character

All the people I ship romantically with this character - Panther, Shin, Suzuna, maybe others i haven’t remembered yet

My non-romantic OTP for this character - Mamori, Monta, Jumonji, Rui, Sakuraba, maybe others that I’ve forgotten and will feel kind of silly for forgetting when the anime introduces them

My unpopular opinion about this character - Panther and Sena are soulmates

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon. - I always kind of wanted to know what happened to him post-pro career. Where did he go? Is he partnered up with anyone? What retirement like? What does he look like in his forties? Will he still have that hair?

1. Top 3 Doctors

a) Second Doctor - genuinely seems to care about his companions, quirky, still figuring this all out but has the right spirit

b) Fifth Doctor - my childhood Doctor, very comforting, kind of clueless but means well

c) Eleventh Doctor - quirky, heartfelt, aim of the game is to have fun but isn’t afraid to throw down (I choose to ignore the kissing people inappropriately because [insert Nick Furry meme here] I mean honestly every time the Doctor kisses someone it’s like what are we doing guys?)

14. How long have you been a fan for - I was a fan back in the 80′s when I could catch the odd rerun on I don’t even remember what channel. When I was doing my Classic Who rewatch it surprised me how many serials I had vague vague memories of. Recently I’ve been trucking along with New Who since about 2011 or so. 

29. Thoughts on the current Doctor - I think Whittaker has done a great job so far as the Doctor and I’m looking forward to seeing what she’ll do next series. She’s got the right kind of quirky vibe to it and I have no trouble believing she’s the same TIme Lord as all the other Doctors. I would like to see the storylines challenge Thirteen a bit more in a way I’m not sure how to put it but feels like it’s lacking (kind of the side of it where she realizes she hasn’t prepared her current team for things like Cybermen), which I think we’re heading towards given how the end of series twelve seems to be shaping up. I really hope we get to see Thirteen and Jack team up. That’s going to be very fun.

this is awesome analysis and it reminded me about the grief angle

Grief seems to be an undercurrent moving the story forward even though it’s not addressed as overtly as much as it could be. It honestly seems like grief is Senku vs. Tsukasa’s conflict as much as weapons vs. anti-weapons is. Senku’s grief seems to come in the form of wanting to return to the future he could have had and Tsukasa’s grief seems to be a form of wanting to prevent the past from recurring. They like to say it’s a fight about science but there’s a lot of science to be had in what Tsukasa wants to do - crop rotation, clean water, renewable energy, etc...so that just makes me think part of it is about teenagers trying to find coping mechanisms really

First impression: HE'S SO MEAN TO US! Worst guide ever!

Impression now: He got nicer but I still don't appreciate his initial lack of professionalism.

Favorite moment: I honestly don't even wanna give him this but I was so relieved when he saved us in Canto 5 after endless waves of boss fights that I felt relieved for realz...

Idea for a story: I'd like dante/vergilius body swap.

Unpopular opinion: I don't know man. I don't Vergilius/Dante here. I think Vergilius has really warmed up to the sinners as a whole but it still doesn't seem like he likes us.
