some of y'all already know i currently live in turkey.

they banned access to instagram and roblox recently and people are mad about it, but i'm not too sure if the ban will be lifted despite the public outrage.

several similar bans have happened in the past, temporary or not, notably paypal (+all alternatives) and the ban of pornographic material that's been in effect for years now.

some could argue that it's for the sake of children, but i beg to differ.

there's not a single thing you can have a good reason to censor from the general public, even if it's "bad stuff", because there's no cut-off point; it was porn yesterday, instagram today, and it could be all social media access that's revoked from us tomorrow.

there's nothing stopping these people from cutting off all access to the internet and making the whole country live in even more ignorance than they live in right now.

i'm honestly kind of scared, especially because they tend to not let young people with "the risk of running away from the country" leave, refusing to give them visas or not letting them leave with bullshit excuses even if they do have one.

i'm also especially scared because i'm not cis nor het, i'm autistic, physically disabled, and i have adhd.

i'm genuinely scared for my future and the futures of everyone else in this country. i don't know what i'm supposed to do and i'm starting to doubt there's anything to do in the first place.

Y'all I got a headcanon I don't think I've seen around-

Sun was absolutely that one kid we all knew who would change their favorite color every week- every day if they were committed

But they always had a different color when you asked them :> like "It's an orange kinda day 😌"

And when you asked Moon they would say Black "because it goes with everything."

And then Sun would argue that it's a hue and not a solid color and Moon would fight back by answering "rainbow" isn't an answer either. "Well I'm not gonna correct the kids!" "You should..." "Well at least the rainbow actually has colors on it"

Whenever I hyperfixiate on a new story that is still ongoing I constantly go between states of "they're all gonna die!!!! RAAAHHH! No!!! My children!!!!!"

Or "NEVER DIE!! You will live forever!! Because friendship demands it!!"

And it's very intense when my brain can't decide which way it wants to go when I see them and I just start crying

I love living and being alive. Nature Is so beautiful and I love that it heals me. I just wish that being alive wasn't seen as such a burden. It shouldn't be.

I have a hope in me that physically cannot die but it gets hurt, so I build walls to protect it. I wish everyone could have some. I wish everyone could feel some. I wish everyone would be some.
