This is gonna be sooo messy because I have a headache and I'm queasy as hell, I'm so sorry.

My theories in short: MC was Uriel the archangel, who fell, and Sister was born from MC's essence/soul being split in half.

Theory in long:

If we are to assume the Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael in the prologue are the actual Archangels as in religion, I'm gonna throw out the suggestion of MC being Uriel, as the fourth most known archangel, who, according to Wikipedia:

Uriel is often identified as a cherub and the angel of repentance. He "stands at the Gate of Eden with a fiery sword", or as the angel "who is over the world and over Tartarus."

In the Apocalypse of Peter, he appears as the angel of repentance, who is graphically represented as being as pitiless as any demon.

In modern angelology, Uriel is identified variously as a seraph, cherub, regent of the sun, flame of God, angel of the divine presence, presider over Tartarus (hell), archangel of salvation, and, in later scriptures, identified with Phanuel ("God has turned").

That can explain the reactions of the trio at the start, swinging between asking MC to repent, and looking at them in disgust/betrayal. It feels personal— if MC was just some mortal that got powerful through Lucifer, they wouldn't have hung around long enough for Lucifer to come and save MC's tail.

AND Uriel's unique position at being so close to Hell can justify how they fell: "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you." and whatnot. More to this part is:

"Your claims mean nothing," Michael replies with cold certainty that resonates through the air. "Your history—your nature—makes you the prime suspect."

Which, again, Uriel's position would certainly make Michael say something like that if what had happened at the beginning involved Hell and demons (which it clearly did with Lucifer's presence).

Also, "By force of habit, you shrug your shoulders, but the movement only reminds you of the weight that is no longer there." which suggests MC used to have wings, so at the very least they were part of the angelic hierarchy.

Hatred isn't something new to you, but hatred from Raphael is. It lingers within you even as the archangel turns away.

This part, if nothing else, suggests whatever MC was in the past, they were close to the trio enough that Raphael's gaze at MC was at least friendly, if not affectionate. Michael as well asked MC to come back and repent when they still could— he was ready to accept MC back.

As for MC's sister, I don't know how to explain it but I think she was created out of MC by the "Creator". When, I'm not sure.

I was initially tempted to say "when MC fell" since the Creator "reached" for them during that, but I now wonder if it happened before the fall and was part of the reason why MC had fallen to start with. Perhaps a misunderstanding behind the creation of Sister (the Creator wanted a companion for MC, MC thought they were being replaced)?

Looking into the eyes of a new life—a new you, but better, more magnificent, you lean in to ask, 'How does it feel? Being loved by the Creator?' Your tone is full of hatred. In response, you see a spark in the gaze of the creation He's molded out of you. Her eyes are filled with love—evidence of your connection.

"How can I not?" She turns to you, her expression no longer warm and familiar. There's a haunting emptiness in her [same color as MC's] eyes, a distant gaze that sends a chill down your spine. "Didn't you notice?"

She speaks your name, both familiar and foreign to you, and though it echoes with a hollow sound, causing fear to grip your chest, your heart swells joyfully with recognition.

(So many different ways for me to interpret this section... MC subconsciously recognizing the other half of their soul? MC feeling happy to hear Sister call them by their name, cementing them both as different beings instead of Sister being a "better MC" as in previous past section?)

While I won't confirm or deny anything, I was really happy to read certain parts of your analysis!

Dumb Brain Child | Episode... whatever

WE GOT A NEW ONE! I never thought I'd make another Sanders Sides theory yet here we are and oh is there subtext. Before we get in to anything, major spoilers for the newest episode [ Why Can Dating Be Scary?] Watch that, come back, let's go!

I will say, from a writer's standpoint, that I do think using Doctor Who as a means to say 'time is weird, it's okay' is a pretty smart move. So, chronologically we're still i n the early phases of C!Thomas and Nico dating.

Anyway! Point by point, we're going from major to minor.

Majorly, we got anothe orange glimpse at [44:28] where Logan's eyes calmed from orange to brown. This during Thomas' explanation of why he thinks he still desrves to date and love Nico. This may be a subtle hint as to how the Orange side will act and later be defeated.

Orange is anger, frusration, or (hear me out) burnout. So far, colour has meant a lot in this series and I think that this episode has dropped a few more breadcrumbs to point to Orange's exact nature. I think it could have to do with feeling stuck or burnedout and therefore lashing out.

We see with Logan when he feels ignored and cast aside, but as we saw in this episode it faded when he was gently talked down rather then harshly dismissed. In the episode we see Logan refuse to take part initally, be used a crutch throughout, then when he finally came to his grand thoery, be denied. He was rightfully angry, but as his error was explained, he calmed down. He was wrong and one thing about Logan is he can admit his faults.

But going off of that, we see the camera then cut to Janus and he gives Logan a little squint. It's subtle, but it's clear he noticed and since we don;t don't know much of Janus i can't say wether it's "Oh no, my plan is failing", "what did you just do?" or "Oh, I see a solution here". each of course lending itself to a different end goal. Later Janus says in the obvious lying voice that everything is fine so he likely to some extent understands that Orange is around. Wether he's going to behave like he did in SvS redux and try to save the day or like in Is Lying Good? where he's the whole problem is unclear.

On the Janus note. Learning that he's the one who maintained the straight facade is very telling. He's never not been heavily involved is what that's saying. He kept C!Thomas ambigous, and possibly kept other things from the surface. If you haven't seen it floating around, there is a 'Janus is Warden' theroy somehwere that is starting to look more and more correct. Which brings me back to Orange.

Assume for a moment that Snake = Warden and Orange = Bad. That would mean that the one thing stopping Orange is Janus in tandem with Thomas' own willingness to accept himself in whole. That would repaint that eyesquint as "Oh fuck, he's getting loose". Supposedly the only reason we've gotten to meet Remus is by Janus' seal of apporval so if Janus is denying this other side how bad are they for C!Thomas or... how not-at-all ready is C!Thomas for this side?

This may be a little bit of a stretch, but doesn't this song sorta fit First Sinner and the Weaver Rebellion???

In a way, FS kinda fits into the role of Eve, FS was the first weaver, and the first "daughter" of GMS, sorta in the same way Eve is the first woman, and one of the first humans in the Bible

Okay so a lot of fics have the orange/7th side as Wrath or sometimes Anger, but consider:

Patton is care love for others, Janus is care and love for the self

Logan is grounded in reality, the twins are a whirlwind of fantasy

Virgil is protection of the self, so... would the next side not logically then be his counterpart - protection of others?

I personally think Vengance fits the role - “punishment inflicted or retribution exacted for an injury or wrong” sounds exactly like the mom-friend override, and I think a mom-friend override would be a fitting counterpart for Anxiety.

One ask but we're gonna do it anyways-

Okay so remember how Remus said he was Cain and Roman was Abel during DWIT? Based on the theory of Cain not knowing that he killed Abel (another theory we came up with that Cain was the first to murder and is blamed with being the beginning of evil and Abel was the first to die but since he was the first to die, Cain didn't know that death was a thing so what if Cain was just like "oh I'll just hit him over the head with a rock as a joke" and then Abel's just...dead), what if that was foreshadowing for a future episode where Remus hurts Roman in some way (physical or otherwise) but he doesn't realize it? However, the fandom (or at least the rest of the sides) think he's even more evil because of what he's done. Since Janus has started to be accepted by Thomas, there's a chance his mentality slowly shifts to how Virgil's is, thus making him turn his back on Remus as well.

...but what if it already happened?

So when Remus bonked Roman, it knocked him out right? So what if that actually changed Roman? Like before we know he was super princely and an egoist and all that jazz but we know he started to shift at some point in the series where he became easily manipulatable and vv confused and kind of lost in a way like he had lost sight of his purpose so-

what if, when Remus hit him, it changed him?

What if Remus killed a part of Roman? More specifically, his happiness? We know that Roman got progressively sadder as the series went on. He was less outgoing and kept to himself more, lashing out in defense because of his fragile state of mind. Remus is intrusive thoughts and they're mostly seen in a negative light, usually making you feel bad or unnerved. So what if he gave Roman intrusive thoughts so bad that it killed his happiness?

Remus did it unknowingly, of course, not intentionally meaning to hurt Ro. But what if Romans redemption (?) arc is him confessing that he changed and that it all started when Remus showed up? He wouldn't want to blame it on Remus (mostly because the last time he declared a side was at fault or evil he was ridiculed and manipulated into thinking so), but he knows he played a part in it, but the others would still blame Remus for it and most likely shun and/or disown him. Then again, Roman might take up for his brother and we might finally get the brotherly Creativtwins content we love bUT THATS FOR ANOTHER DAY.

Anyway, this was just a lil theory we came up with and we thought we'd share :)

Not going to lie to y'all, I really like how all of the dark sides (And the light sides to a lesser extent) have very clear ways of getting Thomas to listen to them.

At first Virgil was "I knew you'd listen to me, I was too scary to ignore" -incomplete. He tried to make himself as scary and intimidating as possible to ensure that Thomas was forced to listen to what he was saying.

Janus is different. Janus isn't trying to be scary to get Thomas to listen to him, he knows that no matter what, because of his morals, he will never listen to Deceit. Instead he dresses himself up like the other sides, he knows what he has to say is important and he knows that Thomas needs to hear it. So it doesn't need to come to him. Thomas is more likely to listen to him if the words are coming out of Pattons mouth or, to a lesser extent, Logan's.

Remus' way is slightly less clear but still very prominent. Remus will say things over and over and over again "Jeffery dahmer". He will keep Thomas awake all night playing the same scene, the same 'fantasy' until Thomas realises he's there.

Now, while that is super cool and I feel like we should discuss it more because it's very indicative of the type of people they are, I'm here to ask about Logan.

No one listens to Logan anymore and as we can see, he's getting really, Really fed up with it (I believe this in part is due to Logan trying to convince everyone he doesn't have feelings, it's not wrong to ignore siri when she's answering your question after all) and I can see Logan already developing a dark side esc way of getting them to listen to him. Simply talking over them.

We saw in the latest episode that when Logan comes back he raises his voice and shuts down one of the other sides (I think it was patton) to as quickly as possible get the information that he needs to out. He talks fast, loud, and constantly irritated, it honestly reminds me of myself. The middle sibling who is over looked desperately trying to join the conversation while they still have a chance.

Of course there is most likely other things that I am missing, like how I think that Thomas (and patron especially) are less likely to listen to him because a lot of the time logic and facts are painful. For example: that super large chat bubble popped up and hit Patton and Roman sliced it away before anyone could read it. This also doesn't take into account the orange side. Honestly I truly do think that Logan is walking a darker path and might end up talking with Remus just to figure out how they all got Thomas to listen to them, even when what they wanted to say wasn't helpful or wanted.

Tell me yalls thoughts on this or what you think Logan's mechanism to get the others to listen to him will be. I woke up and started writing out these thoughts so I apologize if it makes Negative sense.

What we know about the last Side so far: [SS THEORY]

Aight, let's start from the thumbnail of the recent episode. As we could see here, the Sides are in the character roster, in two rows: the upper row, and the lower row. In the top row we have Roman, Patton, and Logan while on the bottom row, we have Virgil, Janus, and Remus.

This reminds you of something, doesn't it?

As we all know, in Dealing With Intrusive Thoughts, Virgil has revealed that he was, in fact, a dark Side.

Going back to the roster, what remains is an empty but existing character slot as we could see from the right side of Remus.

Look.

On the top row are the light sides, while on the bottom are the dark sides. Or so we thought because cHarActER devElopMEnT lmAo jK—

Knowing that the empty slot was situated on the bottom, this gives us one vague but helpful clue:

The remaining Side is a dark Side.

Now, there might not be enough evidence to prove it, but let's look back at the beginning of the appearance of the dark Sides and how they're associated with the light Sides.

We know that Remus is the dark side of Roman, being so-called "Dark Creativity", which makes him Ro's "counterpart ". Janus, on the other hand, having disguised as Patton in Can LYING Be Good??, and being, well, Deceit, which is the opposite of Morality, this makes him Patton's counterpart.

Meanwhile, Virgil does not have or may not have a dark Side counterpart because he was one himself. Which makes him sort of neutral since he's basically both a light and a dark Side.

This leads us to Logan.

While there wasn't an implication that the "orange Side" might be related to him, if you pay attention to the small piece of detail in Putting Others First, there's this from when Logan first appeared in said episode:

If you search on Google what is the opposite of knowledge (which is Logan's department obv), you'd get "ignorance" as an answer.

Could putting the word "ignorant" on Logan's dialogue a coincidence? Or could it be any indication?

Logan, being Logic, is associated with the word "informed" since he is the one who gives info to the other Sides, to Thomas, and to the viewers throughout the episodes. If "ignorant" wasn't any indication that Orange Sanders (coined him a temporary name) may be in one way linked to Logan, then I don't know what may be.

But, hey! Look!

As you could see in this color wheel, the absolute opposite of dark blue (Logan) is orange, which also gives us another clue right off the bat.

In conclusion, we don't really know what Thomas and friends had in plan for Orange, but as long as the newest episode is spitting literal, but shallow facts – er, clues at us, and considering that the thumbnail literally preserves a final slot which means there should be someone in there, I believe and stay firm to my rather poorly-constructed theory (but heck, it's almost 1am as I write this) in which. . .

Orange might be Logan's dark Side counterpart.

So I'm finally getting some rest after this heck of a theory. In fact, Tumblr made my first post of this theory disappear (and I'm halfway through!) which drove me mad and instead of sleeping early to brainstorm better ideas for this theory I spent the night re-typing everything from memory.

Ok hear me out I absolutely adore roman and he is my favorite so here is what I personally see in janus head nod scene. If you think about it in the video Janus saved thomas not roman so technically he wasn't the hero then (ouch). To me janus looks sad when he nods like he doesn't want to give any sort of response but he confirms Thomas is lieing because technically roman wasnt the one to save thomas and Roman's previous choice got them there (whether he was influenced/persuaded/manipulated or not ). Janus wasn't expecting that big of a reaction from roman after that so he looks taking a back at Roman's outburst and is fearful of where this will go and guilty for what he has done to roman. But sense it was not confirmed what that meant I'm not sure. That's just my 2 cents on that. Feel free to tell me how you interpreted that.💖
